Customer Reviews

40W Equivalent Soft White PAR20 Wide 40 Degree Dimmable LED FloodLight Bulb (E)* is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from meh... Color, color, color.... The continuing problem with the LED lamp market is color. This lamp is a 2700K which should be a warm white look and instead it casts a "greenish" hue over the wood desk it was shining on. Bumping up to a 3000K washes out wood grain most often so finding a lamp that maintains the rich appearance of wood is continuing to be a problem in the LED market.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Only getting better These fit perfectly in my recessed lighting and offer an almost real to life warm color. I'm running 6 lights off a single dimmer (3 X 2 configuration about 3 feet apart) and provide ample brightness compared to my 50W Halogens. When dimming from low to high they don't have a great low level initially and more come on, but once on I can back down a few levels to get a lower light output. At the highest setting they are bright and warm at low settings they are a bit more white (cold). I compared these to the Philips LED equivalent and both performed well, but found these to dim better overall. I've been using them for about a month and have noticed a slight flicker/pulsing sensation at lower power levels, but this maybe due to 6 units on one switch, however going up or down slightly resolves the issue.
