Answer:
Yes, it did both of my 2005 Prius headlights. I did run out of clarifier after doing both but have leftovers on the rest.

I have finished my process. The final coat is drying. It is still hazy. Will it clear up or will I have to start over.

Answer:
There shouldn't be any haze, after you apply the final UV coat. If you still have a haze look, you probably may not have rubbed it hard or long enough with the compound.

Answer:
Should not have been hazy as soon as you apply the clear coat. I suggest you start over and make sure to remove the old yellowing and UV damage. The headlight should be a complete white hazy look. You can probably request a new delivery of the product since they guarantee the results.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 30 minutes + elbow grease = terrific result No magic wand in the box but everything you need is there - spray bottle of cleaner, wet/dry sandpaper [400, 1000, 2000 grit], buffing compound, UV block clear coat plus tape for masking and towels for applying. Add some elbow grease and headlight looks like it did in the showroom 8 years ago. June 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeded my expectations! The directions were easy to follow. I took about 50 minutes to do the job because I wanted to be sure it was done right. I sanded for 5 minutes with each grit. I did watch the online video online first. The results were fantastic! I only have the after pictures, but the headlights were cloudy enough that I didn't enjoy driving at night. October 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by THIS IS A MUST HAVE PRODUCT This is a must have product for those that have headlights looking like a soft white light bulb instead of a crystal clear light bulb. Big difference. Improves night visibility at a fraction of cost to replace headlights. Recommended by Consumer Reports. Be prepared to use a lot of elbow grease. Took me way over a half hour but I was taking my time to follow step by step. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best headlight restoration product I did research on headlight restoration kits, since there are so many products available and wasn't sure which one would work. It seemed that the Sylvania kit had great reviews so I ordered a kit. I have to say, this is by far an excellent product, and does exactly as what it states. The headlights on my '04 VW Passat were faded, yellow and foggy. This kit restored it to like new. I'm amazed at how good the headlights look now. It's unbelievable! It does take patience and quite a bit of hand sanding. The whole process took about 1 hr. I didn't rush it But if you follow the instructions exactly as listed, you too will be amazed at how good this kit works. Worth every cent. November 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product This is a fantastic product. It was easy to use and our headlights look brand new! February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great! Used this on my pickup lights after trying various other brands (Turtle Wax, etc.). I was skeptical but after using am sold on this product. It takes considerably longer than the 30 minutes stated on the package but well worth the time & effort. Removes the haziness and clears the lights lens to vastly improve the vehicles lights. Recommended to a friend and he used it on 3 of his vehicles with positive results. Definitely worth $20 December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Complete Kit I have used this in the past and it works well - for about two years. Good complete kit. I had additional wet silicon carbide papers and added many intermediate sanding steps so it took me a lot longer. Actually spent about three hours on it.. Can't be done in 30 minutes even if you just use Sylvania's kit materials. First kit received with the UV liquid protectant solidified like a rock! Home Depot gave me a credit to apply to a new kit. Finally finished the job. Sounds like a bitchlist, so why five stars? Headlights look like new, which was the objective. Even if only lasts two years, $10/year beats $150 at the dealer or $300 - $600 for replacement lenses. "Impossible" to find in big box stores or smaller auto parts stores in the Boston area. Was found on Home Depot internet sales. Whodathunkit? Best kit out there from what I have read or heard. Just check the UV protectant for its "liquidnest" before you leave the store. December 8, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by not long lasting This product did it's job at first. It passed inspection, but with the rain and car washes, it soon disappeared and the same cloud and film came back. December 17, 2015
