This is not the quality I expected from a Symmons product. The handles stick and won't move. At this point the hot water will not turn completely off and is constantly dripping. We've had it less than 2 years. I'm disgusted.

I have the oil rubbed bronze of this faucet. It has an obvious design flaw. The only way to remove the handles is to unscrew them from their base which is difficult on its own when at the factory tightness but this becomes a big problem because the top where the handle pivots is permanently assembled to the bottom. It will gather dirt and stuff so after a period of time it gets harder and harder to turn and in the process tightens the base where you remove the handle so you can never get it off. Eventually I won't even be able to use this cause the handle will be too hard to turn and it didn't take long at all. Terrible design idea! You also need a special tool to take off the faucet screen to clean it...WHY?!?!

This product will last approximately 1 year. I have never heard of a plumbing fixture with such a limited lifespan. This is one of the worst things I have ever purchased at Home Depot. The hot and cold levers lock in place with no easy way to get them back into position. It might not even be possible. After giving up and ignoring damage to the surface of the faucet levers and using various tools, I still have one hot water lever that won't turn without very significant force.

I purchased two of these in the oil rubbed bronze finish for a double vanity. Our household consists of two senior citizens so these were not abused in any way. In less than six months they started to get hard to turn very difficult for my wife especially the hot side there is no way to remove the handle to repair these I feel I will have to replace these soon and being on a fixed income its not easy when you have to buy two. Symmons was recommended to me buy a plumber I will never buy another Symmons product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Walker Excellent quality, Would have given a 5, but.....
I bought two Sophia bathroom faucets recently at Home Depot in Marlboro Ma. One of the faucets came with a metal popup drain assembly and one came with a plastic one. I installed the faucet with the metal one with no problem. I installed the second faucet but when I removed the cardboard to get the drain assembly, I noticed this had a plastic drain. It so happens the metal one is the one I need because of the way the lower tail unscrews. I have non-removable traps and have very little room to work. Anyways I went to back to Home Depot and they were nice enough to open boxes until we found a metal drain. Just wanted you to know. Anyways we LOVE the faucets and want install another pair in our other bathroom but how do I know what drain I will get...?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by paddlegirlnj looks nice, reasonably priced.
Installed this myself last night in about an hour (62 year old non-mechanical female). It looks nice, smooth lines, not too big for a small vanity and room. Only thing is, the underneath the sink parts are plastic - have no idea whether or not this will last longer because of that, or if it'll break down sooner because of the plastic.....
This is to replace a 3 year old expensive faucet that begins with an "M".
