Customer Questions & Answers

can this be used on the bathroom sink

Symmons Roman Faucet
Asked by: Anonymous
Dear Judy: In Symmons parlance, the 'SRT' prefix indicates that the item is a Symmons Roman Tub. Roman tub fixtures are generally sized larger than their lavatory sink equivalents, and often -- as in this case -- feature hand-spray devices, which would necessitate additional mounting holes and space requirements. So though there's no reason why this SRT could not be installed on a sink, provided there was sufficient mounting area above and below the deck to do so, it was not designed for this application, and a more traditional lav unit, such as our Winslet SLW-5112-STN might be the better choice.
