I purchased two Hopper windows online for my basement to replace old single pain wooden windows to see if they would fit the old window openings.
The product was of good quality and lightweight and easy to install and easy to take apart during installation (remove window and screen from frame as per instruction guide).
Like most reviews here the size is slightly different to the specs, however after trimming down the fins on the long side the window frame, it fitted perfectly into the old window opening.
After caulking/insulating the windows in place and then fastening to the frame, the window looked great once I had re-installed the window and screen. No noise or drafts and lots of sunlight even for this size window.
Just have three more to do in the basement and then I’m done..
Highly recommended and great value.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bud Hopper Vinyl Wndow is very resonaly priced.
This window is better than what I expected. I used it as a replacement basement window. It was very easy to alter the window for installation. It would also be excellent for a new basement installation I don't understand why Home Depot doesn't stock them in their store.

these have to be the easiest thing to install ever requires no rocket building knowledge at ALL, trimmed the outside of window with 1/4 round, looks like I hired it done, best window for the money hands down, have already noticed a difference in the looks and the sound and im sure once winter gets here they will more than out perform the old single pane with no seals...

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mywallsarelegos new basement windows
My home had windows from 1959 embedded in the concrete basement walls. The hardest part of changing out the windows was getting the old ones out.
I ordered these online, and installed them into the empty window space. The bottom flange had to be removed so that I could attach the window to the concrete. The screw holes had to be enlarged a bit to accommodate the cement screws but that was not too difficult.
The new windows make a huge difference in the temperature regulation of the downstairs. I love them but I am glad I have a daylight basement and only have to do a few more of these to get them all changed, that old cement is pretty hard.
