Yes, you could install these side by side if your project called for it.

31 in. x 11.5 in. Diamond Pattern Glass Block Window is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gameroom window replacement At 69 I decided to install these myself. This is one of two windows. Started at 9 am, removing all glass from the old casements and then with a saws all, removed the aluminum frames. Cleaned and wedged 2 new glass block windows in position and cemented joints. You may need a second hand inside to help position and wedge in place. Used 1-60 pound bag of Quickrete Mortar Mix. . Completed at 2 with a good lunch. Some prep work for wedges and spacers the day before. Trimmed inside the following day. What an improvement. No more cold air this winter. Lets the light in, with privacy. Sorry, I would have taken a before picture if I would have known of this review earlier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from resolved my window delemma ..Lotta work but great results 38 year old house and I didn't paint my metal basement window frames. (thought the primer was paint) sooo they rusted. couldnt find exact replacments till I saw these glass block and vent units. I have one done and has been in for two weeks and looks great. HOWEVER be prepared to work at the instilation. Getting out the old frame is not easy and also prepping the opening for the block window requires work . All of this is no fault of the window but caused by my past neglect. The instilation required me to build a form to hold the mortar in place and to keep the window where I wanted it and troweling it in is like hearding cats. I'm fairly handy at projects and this job took almost 6 hours. all of that being said I am very happy with the results. I wish these were available when I built. This morning it is 20 degrees out and the inside of the blocks feel warm. I wish they made a way to pump in the mortar as this (because you want the window to stay in place ) is a real chore. I will be replacing my other basement windows with these glass block ones and the vent works great. I believe it allows in almost as much air as the original window did. My only regret is that I started this project so late in the season. perhaps a mason would have known a better way to poke in the mortar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good functional window allowing light and privacy We used the window to allow some light into a small bathroom. The window seems well made, but unlike most exterior windows, there is no flashing of any kind, so you are on your own to secure it into your opening and make the opening water tight on the outside. I used vinyl brick mold on the outside to provide a good surface for a water tight seal. Adhesive caulk and the inside casing keep the window in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent upgrade for basement windows This is a high quality window. It was packaged extremely well for home delivery. Keep in mind there isn't any kind of nailing flange or frame around the unit. It is all glass. Remove old window, install and center this window in opening with shims, and grout into place. Lay a bed of grout on the bottom and set window into it...pushing down and centering at same time. Then shim if necessary to hold into place. Use a small tringlular trowel and a pointing tool to fill all voids around window. Shims can be removed when the window is secure and fill those areas as well. Smooth the exterior to your liking. Interior side can be done the same way or trimmed out to match your decor. A high quality grout is probably best choice because it doesn't shrink. Grout is what is used to erect and set large concrete panels for warehouses and office buildings. If it's good for them, it'll work for your basement window. It's easy to use. Just mix it to a putty type consistency and not too wet or runny. The biggest tip is to keep protective covering on the window screen part of the window during installation. Also, use some "frog" green tape, and tape the perimeter of the window. This will lessen the chance of getting grout on the glass. Keep a wet rag handy for wiping off "goofs". Then, enjoy your window.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Replacement for Builder Grade Basement Windows The hardest part of this project is determining the exact dimensions of the opening and whether to keep or remove the metal frame from the builder grade windows. The windows look great and were easy to install. A big improvement in energy efficiency, security and appearance.
