Rated 1 out of 5Â by Harry On line spec details not acurate
Specs indicated the window unit included a built in J-Chanel for new construction. WRONG!
The units I received were identified as the same product numbers as the spec info but the windows do not have a J-Chanel. Both inside and outside of the window include the same 3/8"-1/2" space and the nail flanges stop short of all the corners by 3-4" which would not provide a complete waterproof install.
There is no J-Chanel on the outside of the windows I received!
I called the manufacturer customer service and they insisted that the window has a J-Chanel.
I have not installed these units and plan to return them to my local HD Store.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by jfcolorado used window?
The window is fine, but the one we received must have been a return. The frame was all scratched up and scuffed. My husband had been waiting for it for the project we were doing so we used it anyway. Otherwise I guess we would have returned it for a new one, which is what I was paying for?

Rated 5 out of 5Â by bigkampe Very impressed with this window.
My basement has 5 windows: 2 in the front and 3 in the back. I replaced the back with inexpensive Tafco hopper windows because this area is shielded from water by an overhead deck. In front I wanted a better quality awning window I could keep open during the rain. I was skeptical because I wasn't entirely impressed with the hopper windows, and these awning windows were about $40 more apiece. This weekend I installed both, and I am so happy I went with them! The locking mechanism works great (my main complaint with the other hopper windows,) and the crank works well too. Also, the screens fit really tight, so there won't be any bugs entering uninvited. Someone mentioned their window didn't include a J channel, but mine did. However, this channel doesn't look the same as a vinyl siding J channel.
If I had to do it over, I would absolutely buy these again. It would have been nice if these were energy star compliant, but they will greatly outperform my old windows.

Very nice window. Tight locking mechanism. Hard to re-trim in an existing situation. Once in looks very nice. Easy inside trim to whatever reveal you want. Watch out the crank handle can turn freely above the sill!
