I am disabled, and have to shop online. Which Home Depot dimmers are compatible with these bulbs? I also have an elderly family member at home, and they would have an easier time with the big slide dimmer or rotary dimmer as opposed to the little tiny slide levers, if possible. Thanks to anyone for their guidance.

Please visit www.tcpi.com. In the upper right corner there is a search box. If you type "MR16 Dimmers" it will direct you to a list of approved dimmers.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A giant step backwards I own several TCP LDCG163WH27KF LED bulbs used in my vanity mirror lights and they work great and dim flicker free down to completely off. Great bulbs! Too bad I didn't buy enough of them and then they discontinued them. So when I bought these TCP RLDCG164W27KF2 bulbs to finish replacing all the incandescent bulbs I was very disappointed that they are garbage in comparison. These bulbs do not dim much at all so when I dim the lights all the way down the LDCG163WH27KF bulbs go all the way down to nothing while the RLDCG164W27KF2 bulbs stay at about 40% brightness. What a waste of my time and shipping cost. These are going right back for a refund. The one photo shows an incandescent bulb on the right next to the previous version of TCP's bulb (LDCG163WH27KF) with one of the ones I am returning on the left (unscrewed so it doesn't light) at the lowest dimmer setting that the good light is visible. The other photo is of all three screwed in at the same dimmer setting as the first photo. Wow what a difference! July 4, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product The bulbs fit properly in the candelabra socket and produce a nice soft light. September 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just the right bulb We had 24 bulbs (25 watt each) in our vanity. The amount of electricity used was unreasonable and the heat produced was unacceptable in the summer months. These newer LED bulbs solved both problems and work very well (although I did have to put in the correct dimmer in order to control the lighting properly). The cost of the bulbs was better than anything I could find on the internet. June 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not as pictured! The lights have a really deep 'balast' base - which may be necessary for LED technology. I really do wish they were simply golf-ball size spheres, no balast, for a better look in the birdcage chandelier... At least there isn't a grey colored open grid in them. May 20, 2014
