I usually do not write reviews unless something is bad, but I just replaced ALL indoor bulbs in my home with LEDs, and I wished there were more reviews because some LEDs worked well and others did not.
These 40W candelabra LEDs are great. I put 5 in my kitchen chandelier. I now get nicer lighting than the incandescents they replaced, all while using less energy than a single original candescent they replaced. They dim nicely too, with no flickering.
They also work great in all but one of my ceiling fans that use candelabra bulbs. The reason one fan did not work well, is because it needs 60W candelabras which are not yet available in LEDs - but hopefully soon.

The two LED bulbs arrived quickly and packaged securely. I tried them out in a fixture inside the house and found the color to be pleasant and warm. They seemed true to the 2700k rating.
These two bulbs were to be installed in an outside fixture with a dusk to dawn control. They would not light, even though the control was supposed to handle CFL and LED. I tried the controller with other LED bulbs and determined the controller was at fault. This meant that I could not use these specific bulbs. Since they are still quite expensive, I returned them instead of keeping them for other uses. (I have already equipped most of the house with LED.)
I returned the bulbs.

I recently purchased and installed a ceiling fan. I set it up so the light would be on a dimmer. The fan came with incandescent bulbs so I bought these as a replacement. The fan takes three bulbs, with all three it is plenty bright. Not noticeably different from the original bulbs. I noticed that at dim levels there is a little bit of a flicker. I didn't see that at all with the original bulbs so I suspect it is the bulbs and not the dimmer. Overall I'm satisfied with these bulbs and will probably buy these same ones the next time I need candelabra bulbs.

I needed an energy-efficient replacement for the four candelabra bulbs in an overhead light fixture. I have used CFL bulbs for several years, but they take a long time to warm up to full brightness, their color is too yellow, they are not dimmable and they are not as bright as I would like.
These new bulbs remedy all of those problems. I was concerned about the length of the bulbs, but they did just fit into my fixture. The bulbs also emit light evenly in all directions, unlike some other bulbs I have seen reviewed.
Although relatively expensive, these bulbs are a better value than the incandescent and fluorescent alternatives. Having just received and installed, I can only hope that they last a long time.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jadeddjay keep the design in mind
So these bulbs work pretty well, the design features an upward pointing LED with a clear diffuser to spread the light down and to the sides. Keep in mind that the base covers up to the widest part of the bottom of the bulb so there is really a limited amount of light that is actually going downwards (when the bulb is mounted in the upwards direction). So most of the light will be directed up to the ceiling. The chandelier I have them mounted on hang low from a tall white ceiling, so the amount of light that ends up diffusing from the actual bulb and reflecting from the ceiling before falling on the table below is not very bright. It works fine for me, but I just wanted to point this out. On the upside, these can be gotten for cheap enough that they pay for themselves after a couple of years in savings (at least this is true in my situation).

I bought this bulb to address a problem with lights over a kitchen bar where the bulbs kept failing because of heat buildup in the hanging fixture. The LED bulb gives good illumination and the fixture no longer gets too hot to touch when it is left burning for long periods of time. I believe that although the initial expense is much greater, it will be offset by the longer life and lower power consumption the LED replacements. Previous bulbs typically failed within 12 to 16 weeks.

I bought these to replace two 40 watt bulbs in a ceiling fan that are completely enclosed in a frosted glass lighting fixture and have very little ventilation. My main reason was to eliminate heat build up if I left the light on for any period of time. The LED bulbs are cool running and I was surprised that they are brighter than the incandescent bulbs they replaced even though they are 2700k.
The side benefit is that they only use 10 watts for two bulbs instead of 80 watts and aren't affected by vibration making them ideal for a ceiling fan.

I bought these bulbs to replace some other LED light bulbs which I detested because of the color of the light (cold and unwelcoming). These are much better. And it is not necessary to supplement the lighting unless I choose to. I purchased what I believed was the maximum wattage since the bulb is dimmable and I have it set almost to the maximum.
