I purchased 10 of these for my outdoor landscaping lights. Here in Central Florida the standard incandescent ones last a month or two and then burn out due to the extreme weather conditions. These lights give a FANTASTIC amount of light, more than the incandescent ones. The quality of the light appears "cleaner" than the incandescent ones. My only hope is that they last as long as they say they will last. I hope to NEVER have to replace them ever again.

these are a good replacement for track lighting and use much less power than other bulbs

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Marinemann high intensity, great replacment for garden light incandesence
Direct fit for power consuming standard MR16 based lamps. The led lamps allowed me to double the number of fixtures without replacing the transformer/timer assy. I bought the 50Watt equal, and they only draw 7 watts each. Not cheap, but if they last 10 years, and draw low power, they will pay for themselves in a year.

This bulb flashes on and off in a can. I guess it's not meant to take even it's own heat in a standard MR16 can. It dims, but the constant on off is too much like a disco for my taste.

I bought these when they were on sale for $15. The color is true. No buzz and dimming works fine. Also, the prongs fit well in my fixture, which is better than the other mr16 LED that I've purchased.

Picked these up on sale for about $15 each. I purchased 6 of them to replace 50W Haliogens in my bathroom. The product turns on instantly and the color of the light is close to comparison to what I had previously, but about 10% brighter. The dimming capabilities of these are not good. I dont know if it is the product or the standard Lutron dimmer switch I have in place, but it only dims to about 50%. I had a different experience with Cree and Phillips LED bubs using a comparable dimmer switch. Those bulbs do not dim as well as standard Incan bulbs either, but do dim better than these, Probably to about 25%. I have not purchased an LED compliant dimmer yet so I don't know if that would make a big difference, One other observation I have is that 2 of the 6 fixtures I have seem to hum a little louder with these bulbs. There has always been a low hum with my halogens, especially when dimming, but there seems to have been a slight increase for 2 of the fixtures with the introduction of these LEDs. At the same time some of the others seem a bit quieter. I believe the 2 fixtures in question could be part of the issue, Overall the two issues I mentioned are not severe and Im happy with energy savings I will receive with these new bulbs.
