So which is it? warm or cool color

also, my 2 pin bulb to fit the stupid bathroom fixture I stupidly bought without noticing the type of bulb it required - doesn't have the plastic part hanging lower than the 2 pins - and there is no recessed area for this piece of plastic in the fixture - what am I to buy???

Many thanks for your help

Answer:
Hey puddintain,
The description is cool white, the 2700K (soft white) color shown on its webpage is incorrect.
These bases of fluorescent bulbs are considered a PL type base.
Your instructions that came with the fixture, or the box itself, should denote if it is a PL-C or PL-S type of bulb.
Refer to it to get exactly the right bulb for you.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Light bulb This is a lightbulb for an older model of Hampton Bay ceiling fan. It's no longer available in the stores. It creates light. If someone wants light I recommend it March 5, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I expected Picture on web site did not display plastic side flanges which then made it incompatible with the receptacle. April 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Check your base type! This bulb appears to be a GX24Q-2. Make sure your 4-pin is this type! There are 4 similar types of 4-pin lights - the difference being small plastic tabs on the base. June 25, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It doesn't fit I read the reviews warning me that these lights don't fit regular 4-pin lights, and that came back to bite me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! These don't fit and aren't worth your time even thinking about purchasing. October 2, 2011
