Product Overview

The TCP 17 Watt (90 Watt Equivalent) Bright White (3000K) PAR38 LED Flood Light Bulb is suitable for indoor and outdoor use in track lighting fixtures, recessed can lights and security lighting. This lamp is equipped with an internal aluminum reflector, which amplifies and concentrates light in a central area. LED technology allows this bulb to stay cool so it won’t heat up recessed spaces or intensify surrounding temperatures and it has a longer lifespan and consumes less power than traditional incandescent bulbs. It has a PAR38 shape with a medium base that screws into standard-sized light sockets, producing bright white (3000K) light equivalent to that of a 90 watt incandescent bulb with a brightness intensity of 1050 lumens.

  • Brightness: 1050 lumens
  • Estimated yearly energy cost: $2.05 (based on 3 hours/day, 11¢/kWh; cost depends on rates and use)
  • Life: 22.8 years (based on 3 hours/day)
  • Light appearance: 3000K (bright white)
  • Energy used: 17 watts (equivalent to a 90 watt standard incandescent light bulb)

  • Lighting application: indoor/outdoor; ideal for use with track, recessed, and security lighting
  • Dimmable: no
  • Contains mercury: no
  • Saves more than $200 in electricity over the lifetime of the bulb compared to an incandescent lamp
  • LED technology is a prudent choice for hard-to-reach fixtures, as its long life expectancy keeps replacement chores to a minimum
