PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Tecma Bathroom Anywhere goes beyond conventional plumbing methods. The key component is the Macerator Toilet System that ties into your home's existing plumbing lines. When the toilet is flushed, the powerful macerator disintegrates the waste and uses the wastewater transfer system to pump it away - up to an 18 ft. vertical rise and 150 ft. vertical run.

  • 2 piece system allows fast and easy access to the pump, if necessary, without the need to disconnect plumbing lines or fixtures, the pump side can be removed, while the reservoir tank side stays connected to the plumbing
  • Pump can be placed behind a wall using ordinary PVC - no need to buy an expensive extension pipe
  • Ideal for basements and much more loft conversions, wet bars, special needs facilities, garage conversions, and areas with slab floors
  • Macerating pump available as bathroom anywhere kit: elongated kit OMSID: 205159255, round kit OMSID: 205159256, elongated bisque OMSID: 205159257

The discharge pipe and the vent will need to be surface mounted on the wall next to the pump. Will this work? Also, what are the dimensions of the toilet inlet above the floor? I have a Saniflo toilet I would like to use and need these dimensions. Thanks in advance.

I have just installed a Thetford system. The pump was working but I noticed a leak at the seam at the tank/pump housing. I drained the system as directed and separated the pump from the reservoir. The bushing on the pump inlet was out of position. I repaired and reconnected the pump. I reenergized the pump and had to prime the pump as indicated in the manual. The pump pulsed when the toilet was flushed Snd the left problem was resolved. Later I flushed the toilet and the pump didn't come on. I flushed it again with the same result. Water started to back up. I discharged the water by holding the manual button for a few seconds. I called Thetford about the pump not cycling properly Snd was told to hold the manual button for no less than 3 minutes. Of corse this put the pump in thermal overload. I edited about 5 minutes and the heat light went off and I tried again. Pump still would not pulse on it's own.

Rated 2.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Macerating pump upflow Works well 2 years working . Not a professional plumber. Kitchen sink ,shower, toilet ,bathroom sink all hooked up to box in basement septic oposite side of basement upflow . January 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible product Well, let's put it this way... when it comes to install a bathroom anywhere, I have found.. too late.. that the only great product out there is the Saniplus from Saniflo ! The bathroom anywhere product is NOT a macerator ! plus the inlets for the shower and the sink are located on the same side which make my installation VERY difficult. I wouldn't recommend this product to anybody. March 7, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by performance ok The provider didn't tell you that you need more parts for using this product. And this product performance ok, not very well. August 9, 2013
