Customer Reviews

8 sq. ft. 12 in. x 96 in. Plastic Deck Tile Underlayment for Tiling Outdoor Decks is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked Great I installed this on a 9' high deck with 2X10 joists 12" on center. Talk about solid! I do suggest going with the manufacter's recommendation for the mortar bed and installing a waterproof barrier regardless of what you will have underneath. Ours has turned out great. The only negative comment is that the 1/4" slope per running foot that is suggested is definitely noticeable; our deck is 16' so that 4" drop looks big. Also suggest you do not waste your money on the manufacter's screws; any pan head outdoor screw should work. I used roofing screws for treated lumber. Also, due to the overlap, each piece seemed to cover a little less that 8 square feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product.. works beautifully, and was super easy to install. Product is easy to install, works fantastic and would sell off your shelves if carried at growing communities where customers are looking to waterproof and tile their deck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A unique decking option When fisnished it makes a very unique decking option over the usual traeted lumber or "Trex" type decking. However it is probably is 3-4 times more labor intensive. Be pre-pared to have hard on the back work ahead of you but in the end it is a great looking deck.
