One had a bent leg, and the leg-locking mechanism failed in the other. The materials themselves seem solid, but the mechanisms for folding, unfolding, and adjusting the legs are very complicated and have a lot of points of failure. Also, there might be some sort of quality control issue going on with the manufacturer; if you look at the negative reviews on this site, most of them come from 2017. On a more subjective note, while I was initially attracted to this product because of the hefty weight and features, I think both of those things might be a drawback. The weight is nice for keeping things stable, but it does make it very cumbersome to move around and set up. The many features and adjustments are nice, but there are way too many moving parts that are prone to breaking or being bent.

I had been pondering how to set up work benches for both my motorcycles and wood working. Being the shop has to share space with 6-10 motorcycles the center space has to double duty which was leading me towards portable benches when my wife saw the advertisement for these benches in a catalog. When I saw the feature for holding 2x4s to make a job site, or portable workbench I said by me 4. made my first workbench for the chop saw that will double duty as a router table. Already using the table to build a few projects to finish boot-strapping my shop rebuild project, like putting in barn doors. When I am not doing wood working the tables will all break down and stack against the wall yielding the center of the shop for the motorcycle lifts

The anti slip coating (sand paper) wasn't very durable. The locking handles for the leg adjustments "flimsiness" was the reason to return the product. It was enough to encourage me to drive 20 miles away and buy a protocol sawhorse set.

Be sure to press in the buttons in far enough. Hopefully the plastic handle will hold up. Hard to tell by just looking because of the different kinds of plastic these days. Is designed so another handle of a different material can be put on or the original replaced. Comfortable to carry a somewhat heavy item swinging alongside. Has holes to screw 2 x 4s onto the top to avoid sawing into the metal or to have things slide easier. They do have a non-slip surface on top which made it hard to slide the plywood so I made a table with wood in the side clamps. When handling 4 x 8 sheets on these saw horses, in "table" form, they were very sturdy and didn't tip. I was easily able to drop and swing the sheets over. Singularly, they are very stable but a table is always better. The legs have rubber feet. I've been using them on dirt outside so can't say whether the rubber performs. Other pullouts are for holding boards for sawing etc. that I haven't used yet. Nice to know I have a variety of options. Very Nice.

One of the first attractions is the small storage size - I needed to free up some room and standing sawhorses take up a lot of space and these are so small to store! The small size doesn't fool - these are VERY sturdy. They are well build and very well engineered. Everything is quality designed and built. The adjustable legs are great, and the swiveling feet make is so you can adapt to any terrain. These might be a bit of overkill for a garage floor or workshop, but if you're outside on less than level terrain, these will help out a lot. (For the inside work, the Toughbuilt model without the adjustable legs would do great!) The features are terrific - especially the ability to stand larger pieces vertically - I hate trying to cut plywood while leaning across it. Locking both 'horses together with 2x4 would add a lot of stability to it, in addition to proving a much more stable outside work table. I plan to have a piece of plywood with predrilled holes to attach when I need a table. You can also attach a sacrificial board to the top for making through cuts without hitting a metal sawhorse (or sawing up your wood 'horses!) A bit pricey, but it's well built, sturdy and strong and feature full. Great product! My only comment about actually using it - be careful when setting it up and taking it down, because there's a definite hazard in pinching fingers. Just be slow and deliberate about each piece when setting up and taking down and things will be fine. Gloves would not be a bad idea, just in case. There's no issue with the design, it's just one more of many tools that just needs to be handled safely. It's worth practicing all of the adjustments to see how each works before using for a real job if you can. It's especially useful to watch how the legs latch so that they are locked before putting weight on it.

We are currently using all of our horses for painting and I need something for the tile saw. I set up a saw horse table for my tiling projects. this is how we arrived here, and went on line to research a better set of horses (we currently have metal, wood and plastic sets). First I settled on the 550 series, well, that did not work out. Way too short? Can not believe with the great quality of the horses that they were that short! who works down there?... The 700 series fully extended with a 2x4 attached to the tops works perfect. As all other reviews stated compact, and heavy, with some well thought out extras. Lil pricey, but if they last were good. Bottom line, I like em...
