I have a closet that is 8' wide and would like to install two sets of these doors. How much will I need to add for the nominal width differences and is there a 96" track cover that I can order separately?

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love these doors We had these in our old house and got them again in our new house. We get compliments all the time on the look and sturdiness of them. My husband built the closet door frame to the specs on the directions. The doors ended up being so perfect we could not add the metal guid on the floor. My husband had to belt sand the bottoms to shorten the doors. April 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Attractive, Easy Install Purchased these doors as a replacement for bifolds on a coat closet. Very easy to install. Very Heavy. They are covered with paper, they are not solid wood. The 'print' on the paper is very detailed and they really do 'look' like real wood. We are being 'careful' with them as they are covered with paper and do not want them to get damaged. I think as long as you are careful they will last for you appearance wise. We have 4 children ages 6 to 9, and even with the kids using them, they are not damaged as of yet! I'm happy with them overall, and thinking about replacing more of the closet doors in my home with these. Very attractive overall. April 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Happy I Chose This Sliding Door I rarely review products but I am so pleased with this door I felt I should. I had a pantry closet built in my utility room and chose this door for it. I store both pantry items and cleaning items in it so I usually open and close the door several times a day. The door slides back and forth with such ease, even now after 2 years of use, I'm still impressed by it - and appreciate it. The finish, while not wood, is very satisfactory; I'd describe it as plastic rather than paper. It has a nice wood grain appearance but might be damaged if treated roughly. I love the very dark brown frame which contrasts nicely with the white glass - a real style upgrade for my utility room. The glass panels are opaque enough that you can't see through unless an object is right up against the back side. Judging by the ease with which they slide, the hardware must be well made. I have other sliding doors that slide fine but not as nice as these. Couldn't be more pleased! February 21, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poorly constructed and incorrect dimensions When inspecting the dark espresso doors right out of box did not see the very large bubble in the veneer. This became quite obvious once they were hung in place. Doors also are not 24" each to equal 48" they are 25" to equal 50". Very little satisfaction from Home Depot - would replace but my responsibility to bring them back which, because I used a contractor to pick them up and install them, would cost me just as much as the doors themselves to have him take them down; bring them back; pick up new ones; and install. Only other option to be satisfied with a 10% refund - a whopping $33. So, I have poorly made doors in my entrance hall. Shame on you Home Depot. October 21, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice doors but unattractive hardware Doors are very nice and a great upgrade over typical mirrored closet doors. My only problem is the hardware attached to the floor to keep the doors in place when opening or closing them. It looks very cheap on my tile floor. See attached photos. I am going to try and spray paint them dark brown to match the doors. Any other suggestion?? March 12, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Look good, but.....No Handles Instructions good be a little a clearer, but I got through it. the bottom track bracket is not really explained on how to install it. I made it work though. One glaring error is that there are no handles to open and close them. Kind of hard to grab the edges. I'm looking into added some recessed handles, don't really want to cut into them, but since they overlap, simply screwing in a knob that sticks out won't work. December 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Different than before One of the doors arrived scratched, I hope that it is on the side that goes inside. I ordered these doors from Home Depot about 8 years ago and they came in sections, requiring assembly. These are in one piece, which I think makes them more stable. October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Shojii type Doors!! Beautiful doors!! They really make a nice change from the old bifold closet doors! Very classy and well made. The color was exactly like stated - a deep expresso. I would highly recommend them! August 24, 2015
