Tyvek has a proven track record of protecting your investment. Ive been building for 28 years and have never found a better house wrap. Dont let cost sway you. Let the proven facts show you. No other wrap has the proven science behind it. Tyvek is the only wrap I will ever use even on my lower end homes. Do your home work.. Cheaper is just that...cheap. The cost of a repair due to bad barrier is far more than buying the right wrap the first time. We even use the Tyvek suits to paint. Its that durable.

Tyvek is to tight you need wood to breath behind walls or it will rot. I am a builder in Canada and HomeGuard is way cheaper and a product better suited to the life of wood perseveration thru breath ability. Mark should stick to baking cookies in his kitchen rather then pretending the product is superior with a water bottle. All HomeGuard products are independently tested to become approved weather barrier product that even exceeds Tyvek in certified ccmc testing labs

BEST PERIOD! DO NOT BUY THE "WOVEN" CHEAPER WRAP... NO GOOD! DUPONT TYVEK IS THE BEST. GET MORE FOR YOUR MONEY ON THE LARGER ROLLS.

This house wrap is very brittle and way over priced. Another home builder turned me to the cheaper easy guard and it worked awesome and for way less. Don't waste your money like I did mine.

Check your nearby stores for pricing. I live between 2 stores and there is a $25.00 per roll difference by my going to the store 20 miles away rather than the store 10 miles away.
It is the same Tyvek either location.
And this stuff make the best low-cost water resistant camping tarps. Cut to size, then crumple it up to remove stiffness. It retains the water-resistance after. Just wish it didn't have the huge logos all over it.

I am a Home Builder in Georgia, and have had the good luck of finding a fine product named TYVEK at my local Home Depot.
Tyvek is a house wrap product that is installed on the outside of a new home or addition to increse the insulating factor of your home. I have used Tyvek for a number of years now and hightly recomend the housewrap for all jobs. The tape that Tyvek produces is a handy way of sealing joints.
Great Product. Thanks Home Depot for providing Tyvek.

I live in New York, great stuff. This combined with the fan fold rigid foam board underneath my siding definitely does a great job of keeping my house warm. Make sure to apply tightly, use staples, and tape for the adjoining seems.
