A19 bulb replacements - especially CFL or LEDs - vary in height. The requested dimension will allow us to verify whether desired bulbs will project above the glass. Thank you!

I saw people asked the same up/down question and got different answers. I also want to find out how much space between the fixture and the wall. My plan is to maximize the light by mounting it hanging downwards right above a mirror. My concern is the mirror has a thick frame (about 1") and I want to make sure there is enough space. Thank for your time!

Oralee 5-Light Brushed Nickel Bath Vanity Light is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking, one minor complaint There's the thing, the fixture is attached to the box at only one point, so it tends to twist on the wall around that point if you put pressure on one end or the other. If I were to tighten the heck out of it, then I'm sure I could stop it, but I'd likely end up creating an indentation where it tightens down. It would be easy enough for them to have used a two point system or put small spikes on the back to grab hold of the wall. Looks great. Finding florescent bulbs that fit inside was a chore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful light fixture with lots of light! It was easy enough to install, but need smaller hands to fasten the shades and insert the light bulbs. Really like the 500 Watts of total power, my bathroom is swimming in light. The curved design is perfect with the arch-top medicine cabinets I also bought.

My husband was upset as he could not put his hand in the shade to tighten. So you need someone with a relatively small hand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice looking but.............. This fixture is a nice update from hollywood bulbs. However, standard bulbs are too tall for the glass shades. You can forget about led and cfl bulbs. I could only find a 3 1/2" reveal bulb that would sit below the top of the shade. If you don't mind searching around for short bulbs every time one burns out this is the fixture for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Unique Lighting Fixture This is a very stylish bath room fixture and easy to install. It took only about 15 minutes to assemble from start to finish. I love the curved look and matches perfectly with the other bathroom faucets and accessories. It was inexpensive but with an expensive look. Well worth the money.
