While a little expensive for a box of screws, Tapcons do get the job done. Tapcons are one of the fastest ways to anchor fixtures into concrete. They work very easily and have excellent strength. For best results, you have to drill the correct size hole with a masonry bit, and drill it at least ¼” deeper than the Tapcon will reach. Then it is easy to screw in the Tapcon.

Tricky to keep the bolt from turning while the sleeve is stationary in the concrete. Sometimes the nut will turn the bolt. Maybe tap the bolt and sleeve inside the nut attached and grab top of bolt to turn wrench.

I used these for cinder block and they worked great. The drill bit provided wasnt the best, but it will due for a light job. Any heavy drilling, i recommend just buying the screws and purchasing a bit seperately.
