Tapcon Drill Bits work best with Tapcon Concrete Anchors. They have a carbide tip that ensures the precise drilling of pilot holes. Tapcon drill bits are designed to work as part of a system. The system includes the Condrive Installation Tool, the Tapcon anchor, and the carbide-tipped Tapcon drill bit. For consistent performance, it is best to use the entire system.

  • Use with a hammer drill for best results
  • Carbide tip for strength and durability
  • Drills up to 75 holes
  • Tight bit tolerance provides maximum anchor performance

Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Use only with a hammer drill I bought a 75-pak of 1-3/4 FH Tapcon screws, and the cheapest hammer drill on the shelf. I drilled holes for all 75 screws with the same bit. Tapcon's recommendation for a hammer drill is really a requirement. Without a hammer drill, the bit will just spin and burn up on the 1st hole. February 23, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by drilled one hole and bit was worn out this drill bit is one of the lowest quality I have ever used, out of the package it had a very noticeable run out and the carbide tips were so poorly welded into the tip that I had to clean the weld material away from leading edge of bit to start. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Drilled one hole and then it did not work anymore Junk, Does not work as advertised. Tapcon screws and bits have not worked for me. Used in hammer drill as per directions, it drilled one hole and then would not drill anymore. Tapcon screw did fit in hole July 27, 2012
