Since this is an online order product we want to order this for our remodeling project only if it is approved for putting wood flooring on a concrete foundation.

Yes. I used Taylor MS on my concrete floor and it worked perfectly. Be sure that your concrete is properly prepared (clean and level).

Honestly I would have to go re-read the bucket, but I have seen several reviews where people claimed to use it directly on concrete with great success.

Answer:
On well cured concrete. You will need to use a thicker coat than if it were wood. For concrete you will get about 70 to 80 sq. ft. of coverage. This thicker layer will provide a moisture barrier between the concrete and flooring. The moisture barrier is very important.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by best purchese easy to spread, easy to clean, no odor, just the best April 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Seems to Bonds Well But ! ! ! I gave this a ONE STAR because when opened it was dry and crusty on top. It came from the retailer I bought my Bamboo flooring from - (iFLOOR) not Home Depot. Might be that it was old but I had to waste a considerable amount to get to where I could use it and there were still small lumpy pieces in the glue. Maybe Taylor should have an expiration date on the adhesive, it certainly should have been ready to use when the bucket was opened. I'm ordering more from Home Depot to finish the job. I will however, have the bucket opened at the store to make sure I don't get another crusty batch. I will update this review at a later time. May 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great buy. I am not a pro at installing wood floors but I have installed floors in my home and have used another more expensive product. MS plus was by far the easier product to work with. It gave more time to work with in between spreading and laying the floor, it was easier to spread and most importantly, to me, it was odorless and I did not have to worry about those harmful fumes that other adhesives expose you to. And it was also easier to clean up my tools , hands and any unwanted drips from your new floor. Now let us see how it will stand the test of time. April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by worked great works great had to rip up a piece of wood that had been down for a day because of defect and wood gave before glue did had to use oscillating tool to cut glue from under the wood. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wood floor adhesive It goes down well and doesn't seem to have much odor. Haven't finished the floor yet, but it seems to have very good adhesion, Tried to pull one piece back up and had to use a prybar to break it loose' Also liked the fact that they include the trowel adapter with each bucket of glue.nice to not have to buy another trowel that I may never use again! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product - And I would know!!! I found this product to be very easy to use and I am very happy with the results. A few years ago, I laid a hardwood floor in a downstairs hallway over a concrete floor. Within a few days, my floor sounded like a rice cereal when we walked on it - snap, crackle, pop. It was extremely annoying. The glue I bought off the shelf at the home center didn't work well and I was very unhappy. I tried to repair it by drilling small holes and squeezing in glue. That didn't really work. I had to live with this annoyance for years! In May we had some water leak into our house during a heavy rain storm and it ruined the flooring in that hall. Yippee!! I had a chance to fix the popping on the floor. But I doubted my ability to do the job and considered calling in a professional. Then I found this product and the reviews made it sound great. I decided to give it a try. I ordered the glue and it was delivered to my house. The bucket was in a brown box and when I opened the bucket I could tell it had been on its side during transportation. Some of the glue had spilled over the plastic shield inside the bucket. No big deal. I spread the glue on my clean concrete using the recommended trowel. It went on easily. The one thing I didn't like is that it is not water-based. I used turpentine to clean up small patches of glue and it came off easily. The flooring went down like a breeze. I had to remove one of the boards just after I laid it and I could see how well the glue was spreading out during installation. It looked great. I finished laying the floor and let it cure. I was very anxious to see if the snap, crackle, pop would come back. To my delight, the flooring was perfect! I am so happy with the results. I literally walk up and down the hall in my socks admiring it. This is a great products and I highly recommend it. Follow the directions and do the proper prep on your concrete and you won't be disappointed. September 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best engineered floor glue around Less toxic than urethane based floor adhesive, and stronger/faster than the water based kinds, it goes on easily and if you leave the smaller tabs on the included trowel blade, will even provide a moisture barrier. The caveat is that if you use the included trowel blade as is (without cutting the tabs off) then while it's an effective moisture barrier, you also go through produce very quickly. It ends up taking me about 2 buckets for a 12x14 bedroom, 3 for my living room. Cleanup is more difficult because it's not water soluble - you either wipe it off or wait until it balls up and falls off. I have no concerns about this glue holding, whatsoever. September 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First time gluing, loved this stuff I bought this to install solid bamboo on my above grade cement subfloor. My husband and I have never done anything like this before. The product was super easy to spread, and clean up. As you can see in the picture, I made a bit of a mess. But when I went back it cleaned up fast and didn't leave a residue. A few notes if you're a first timer like I was (and maybe not knowledgeable about this stuff): The 'trowel' is comes with is an attachment. It slides onto a long...flat like trowel. Or what I called the 'spatula'. We used almost the full 4 gallons in my son's 100 sq.f.t room with the trowel attachment they have. Also, make sure your flooring pieces lock in correctly before you fully put the board down. The planks we had needed to be lifted and refit correctly a couple times..this adhesive does NOT like to break it's suction. We had to use a mini pry bar to pop the wood back up and re-position it if it wouldn't tap into place. We are definitely going to keep using this brand through the rest of the house. March 23, 2015
