I have a patio made of 18 X 24" concrete squares that used to have 2 X 4" wood between them; the wood had rotted out so the spaces were thoroughly cleaned. I packed 1/4"-minus decomposed granite between the squares by a repeated process of filling and compacting with a piece of lumber and a rubber mallet; the material was fully compacted. I calculated the amount of area of the decomposed granite that I wanted to stabilize at 62 sq. ft.; since the Nanopave material is supposed to cover a minimum of 60 sq. ft. in this application and I wanted to make sure I applied enough of the product, I ordered and applied 2 gallons with a garden pressure sprayer. This allowed full saturation of the granite. We've had no rain and the daytime temperature has been 68-72 degrees for well over a week. As you can see from the photos, normal foot traffic continues to cause substantial scattering of the granite granules. I have to sweep or blow off the patio every 1 or 2 days to keep from tracking the granite into the house.

We have a larger flagstone patio we installed a few years ago. We wanted to cut down or eliminate the clover growing and ant coming up between the joints. We used this product and were extremely disappointed. We called customer service at the manufacture and they explained that you need DUST to be mixed in with the sand or crushed stone to harden the joint stabilizer product. This product may be good for new installations but not for existing installations. The pictures show what happen within 2 weeks of installation.

I had a contractor try the process and they used the wrong jointing material and not nearly enough of the sealer/stabilizer. I was skeptical based on a few negative reviews, but I decided to try it out myself; watched the video, looked over the install guide a couple of times- seemed fairly straight-forward.
I applied to a decomposed granite jointing material (which the instructions said work better than sand in wider gaps), sprayed the liquid at the recommended quantity based on the joint width and used a garden sprayer.
The results are night and day better compared to the original try by my contractor. It's about as easy a product as I could have hoped for and the results so far are very good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Daddidit Worked very well (cause I read the directions...)
Saw the video on the website and I read the instructions for installing it. Almost didn't buy because of a bad review and then I saw that they expected it to kill weeds... Just follow the directions, super easy one to do. I bought more than I should have and then I found they have a job calculator on the company website, oh well next time.

Overall - this is a good product. But, do not use if your pavers will be exposed to excessive water of heavy rains. Our pavers are located in an area where there is no gutter and a lot of water runoff from the roof. This has washed away 80% of the sand between the paver joints. It took a few months with the Nanopave, but it has happened.

Used on sandstone walkway with sand filler in joints. Solidified the sand to keep it in place. Only negative is how many emails I got from home Depot asking me to review this product.

The product met expectations. It was the only product I found that would not change the color of the coarse paver sand I used in between large slate stones nor change the appearance of the stones themselves. Over the past few months, some of the paver sand has loosened with brushing of the area covered by stone. I may try going over the sand again as I have lots of product remaining. Alternatively, I may sprinkle new paver sand in areas where the joint is low and apply the product to the new sand.

Used on the crushed granite between my flagstone to keep it intact. It did not work at all. $ down the drain. Rain washes all the granite away. Do not buy!
