Answer:
NanoPave JSS Ghost is a natural look finish that will have minimal sheen as sealers go. It will enhance the paver's natural colors and improve the overall current aesthetic. 'Wet Look' implies high gloss, and neither version of NanoPave JSS is considered high gloss.

Can I use this sealer to line a rock based pond?

My husband has lined 2-4 inch thick pavers inside his hand dug pond (which is about 8 ft by 14 ft) He is filling the spaces around and between the stones with concrete. Concrete fill varies between, and around, each stone--up to approx four inches deep and in width. He wants to seal all of this over with concrete sealer and use the pond for ascetic purposes. He does not plan to put fish in the pond. Will this produce work fairly well for something of this nature?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Customer Service I recently completed a review BobSig226 and describe the details of my experience. Since this review the manufacturer has stepped in to help rectify the situation with sealer not being compatible with jointing material. This review is to amend the original to a higher rating as a result of the manufacturer sending me another 5 gal supply of sealer to redo my walkway. I still recommend that you test the sealer on the material you are sealing before a complete application. July 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Chunks flake off-not for all mixes I originally purchased 2 gallons of Nanopave for my front steps. This application worked well for pavers with sand joints. I admit I used double the recommended application rate and got good results. At this point I probably would have given the product 4 stars. However, two weeks later I purchased the 5 gallon version for applying to my flagstone walkway with crushed limestone in joints. The container states an application rate double that of the sand joints. OK...so I even doubled this rate as an "insurance policy". The walkway looked great until I cut the grass and used leaf blower to blow grass off walkway. chunks of crushed stone started flying away. I then contacted Techsoil (makers of Nanopave) and they asked a bunch of questions. They are in the process of analyzing a sample of limestone mix from the quarry the mix was purchased from. According to the rep..."Their product should be tested before final use because it is not compatible with all mixes". Based on this statement, I should have gotten a sample from my landscaper prior to them installing the walkway, tested the sample with my $150 5 gallon Nanopave. And then when it didn't work, inform my landscaper they would have to use a different source for the joint mix only to start the testing process over again. BTW: The rep further stated that I would need to remove the joint mix and start over. For this, I give the product 1 star. July 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The KING of paver sealents! I did a lot of research on sealers and read all the posts online from guys who did all that work laying pavers only to have the sealer discolor the block!! Lucky for me, my new wife had a paver patio installed just before we got married and the crew left behind a partial jug of this stuff. You will NOT have any problems if you use this product to finish your paver project. It goes on easy and could not be simpler to use. Follow the instructions. I used a regular 2gal sprayer to apply and a straw broom to spread out. I used a squeegee on the first set. Soaks into the sand quickly and dries HARD. I did heavy 2 coats. The sealer soaks into the block and disappears! NO DISCOLORATION!!! In fact, the "Ghost" product I used gives a very slight enhancement to the color but is NOT shiny. FYI: I did do a comparison with a "Wet Look" product and did not care for the results. I did not want my pavers to look like polished marble! This was my first time laying pavers and I am very pleased with the results. I got everything from HD and did my online research. Even after recent rains there is no washed out sand or lifting pavers etc. It's a backbreaking job to be sure and standing there ready to apply the sealer was very tense. The idea of pulling it all back up was unacceptable. About an hour later I was happy and relieved!! Nano Pave works as promised!! November 29, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't help Got this stuff to help harden some crusher fine I have between flagstone. Put down 2 pretty thick coats but now when it rains the crusher finer gets splashed on top the same as before the treatment. Didn't make it worse but didn't make it better either. November 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by easy installation Product was simple to install. Simply apply with pump sprayer. I applied according to the coverage specified and product did not even require the suggested squeege step. It dried fairly quickly and did not leave any shine as I did not want that glossy look - instead I wanted the more natural look. Paver stones were brightened up and look fantastic. Will definitely use this product again in a few years to refresh. September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really works. Nanopave joint stabilizer really works and isn't hard to put on. It dried quicker than I had expected. The regular paving sand that I put in between the pavers is now like cement---which is what I wanted. I don't know how long it will last, but I am impressed so far. The biggest drawback is that it is pretty expensive. October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Concrete Sealer/Joint Stabilizer Recently did a poured concrete patio to resemble flag stone and we used pea gravel as the joint filler material. We stumbled upon this product looking for concrete sealer and read the reviews... they all said it worked great and held the joint materials (sand, pea gravel and crushed stone) in place. We used it to seal our new patio and it looks great and bonds the pea gravel so the majority stays in the joint even after heavy foot traffic. Very happy with the product and will purchase again to do our annual sealing. June 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product! I am doing a flagstone patio and am using 1/4"-minus ground basalt as the joining material. This product is a 2-in-1 joint stabilizer and sealer and basically solidifies the joining material. It works GREAT! Easy to apply and after talking with one of their Rep's, even up here in the northwest I should only need the one coat which will last for at least a couple of years. I would HIGHLY recommend this product for anyone doing a project like this, especially if you want a more natural-looking hard surface. This is the 'Ghost' version of this which gives it a more natural look. They also have a 'Hi-gloss' version. July 26, 2013
