I find a good rule of thumb for this particular fencing is placing the post six to eight feet apart. If working on uneven earth you may need to adjust the spacing inward or out to account for rises and falls. In the end making sure the fence is upright and visible is of chief concern. I hope this helps.

Answer:
It's not a tough plastic. You can rip it with your hands, so a rabbit wouldn't have any problems with it. They chew wood for fun to keep their teeth from overgrowing, so anything short of metal would be too soft.

Hello chikita and thank you for your question.
The HDX 4 ft. x 100 ft. Orange Barrier Fence is made of thin plastic. A rabbit may be able to chew through – especially if there is a tasty treat on the other side of the fence!
Best wishes on your project.

I can't imagine how it could. It's easily ripped/stretched by hand or by stretching just a bit too hard when applying it to the support stakes.

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Everbilt 4ft Orange Guardian Fence I needed a simple barrier to block off sections of my yard from the dogs while I re-seeded it and gave the grass time to grow and thrive. This, with simple plastic step in fence posts we use for temporary electric fencing for the horses, worked great! The dogs don't push it and the grass is doing very well! May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stuff This orange barrier meets the need. Easy to use and makes items visible that you want protected. August 11, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Complete junk First off the picture is incorrect. The fence they sell is much thinner and rips very easy. This was installed for 3 days on a job site. On the 4th day I was walking 500 yards to go fish it out of a pond and then tossed it in the dumpster. Do cheap out like I did and look else where for a quality made product. March 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by thin material the material was thin , Our application was on a coastal site and it didn't weather very well in the wind. Purchased the thicker material from home depot store, same isle. March 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Purchase. It has withstood the high winds up here in Estes Park. December 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Barrier Success We had to put a barrier around our property to host an event. The product held up well and was relatively easy to erect. Placing posts closer together is suggested due to sagging and left at the bottom. We stretched the distance due to amount of area we had to cover. December 15, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Safety fence Product meets the need I have. It seems to have held up to a 30mph wind with the building method I used. It is a little "lighter" weight than I expected but is only a visual barrier and was easy to erect. September 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect to fence in half of our yard Product unrolled nicely. Easy to attach to the sticks. October 20, 2015
