Amplified Outdoor HDTV Antenna-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Boon-Docks HDTV Antenna This is the second antenna of this manufacture as the first one was destroyed by the roofers. If it had not been great, I would have replaced it with something else. This is the greatest antenna available for this area! This antenna is rated "blue" and it meets that distance range easily. The nearest station is 14 miles as the "Crow Flys" and the most distant is roughly 65 miles away. With the antenna oriented for the most distant station, all twenty-some come in full strength on the built-in signal meter on the TV Receiver. It has withstood wind gusts of 93MPH (verified by National WX Service) and has continued to work without a problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recommended I've had this antenna over 4 months now and I'm not disappointed with it. It's small size, ability to pull in signal and simple installation make it a purchase you should consider. The anntenna is directional so you need your stations within 20-30 degrees from each other. Mine pulls in stations 45 miles away, great picture. The included preamp must be installed to get this antenna to work, otherwise it's useless. I recommend this antenna.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Great! After searching through the program guide of DISH, and continually finding nothing I wanted to watch, I figured I would pull the plug, and not waste $80 each month. I live "in-the-sticks", so my original research indicated I needed a rather large antenna. I happened across the Terk amplified version - even though I had my reservations because of it's size. Boy - am I impressed! This thing works like a champ! Much smaller than a "traditional" antenna, super easy install, and it works flawlessly. Do yourself a favor - buy this antenna, order Netflix for $8 per month, and stop wasting money each month on cable or satellite.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great for HDTV, issue splitting signal This antenna was actually purchased about a year ago and I mounted it in my attic instead of outside. I did not want to bother with grounding it or the homeowners association rules. The cable run through the attic is about 35 feet. I went to antennaweb to get the direction to point the antenna based on my location. It worked great, pulling in the signals from where I live in West Palm Beach to Miami (over 70 miles away). And I have a concrete tile hip roof. The amplifier resides near the TV input and is plugged in between the incoming line and TV or recorder. I receive about 18 channels in HD and cannot believe the clarity. I am opposed to paying for cable or sat since I mainly watch a few network programs and news. My only issue was trying to split the signal for more than one TV set, the signal degraded too much to pick up the distant stations. I am sure it had to do with the amp location as well. For this reason I am purchasing a second antenna for the second TV since the cabling is already run. (I had cable previously). It is very compact compared to the other full outdoor antennas and was easily mounted to one of my roof trusses. Now I just have to figure out how to record using a higher quality than old VHS tapes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looking to save a few bucks - Try This Product!!! I feel as if this is a "Great" product and I wish that I would have dropped my Cable Provider Years Ago!!! So if anyone is looking to save a Few Dollars each month - this product will pay for itself within a few months - Then You Can Start To Save Extra Cash Each Month. It was very easy to set up, and I placed mine on my roof and set everything up within 30 minutes. (Caution) Just don't try to set it up on your roof first thing in the morning (End of January) - wait for the ice to melt off your shingles first!! lol

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more cable bill! I haven't purchased or used an antenna in 20 years. With the advent of HDTV this is my smartest purchase yet. The picture is crystal clear, no issues with set up and no issues in quality build. I would highly recommend this product if you want to get rid of direct or cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An awesome Antenna We live in a valley with mountains between our home and the TV towers. Our neighbors have had problems getting good reception and they told us we would never get good reception in this area. How wrong they were! We get excellent pictures on all the major channels and even good pictures on the weaker (education) channels. I mounted the antenna in the attic and it is working great. The only problems was the lag bolts to secure the base were very cheap and one broke off in the wood and another would not grab the wood. Also, the base was too large, and the bolt holes were not spaced for a 2x4 rafter. Other than that we are very pleased with this antenna.
