5 in. Nickel Plated Steel Number 8 is rated 1.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Take care in the installation... Be sure to follow the instructions found by unfolding the package's cardboard backing. 1. Be careful in step 4 when instructed to attach studs to the back of each number using small adjustable wrench or 1/4" end wrench - the stud is lightweight metal and easily shears off. Be gentle! 2. You'll need silicon caulk to anchor the studs into the holes you drill. It's better to overfill the holes with caulk and trim later than to try to add caulk to fill voids. 3. If float mounting, the finishing hole will be too big if you use a 1/4" drill bit. I suggest a 15/32" or 7/16" finish hole.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spend a few dollars more and save the headaches To float mount these numbers, you have to attach the posts to the back of the numbers. Even gently doing so resulted in the posts breaking. We were able to still mount two of the broken numbers, but had to purchase (and return) three number "1" just to get one to work. Absolute junk. Had we not drilled the holes for this particular product we would have returned all the numbers and spent the few extra bucks for a better product. Don't waste your time.

The double threaded screws that affix the numbers to the house break/snap super easily. They are made of a cheap metal that snaps with Les than 3lb of pressure. It does not bend it snaps. I installed five numbers and half the screws broke / snapped. I ended up using glue. This is a sub standard product. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rusted within 2 years! The coating started peeling within a year, and now they are rusting...only 2 years after installation. JUNK!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty, but be careful You have to be very careful when you put the post on. 1 broke in the process, but Home Depot exchanged it, no questions asked. The rest installed very well. It gives the house a very pretty modern look.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really poor quality We purchased five letters. One was already peeling when we opened it. After trying to install three of them per instructions (and carefully!) the screws broke on each one. The metal is really poor quality. They're all going back.
