Answer:
Large boxes hold more goods but are heavier when fully packed so something in a mid size usually works best.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 102 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by TAPE DOES NOT STICK As everyone else has noted who have purchased in the last few months: TAPE DOES NOT STICK!! It appears to when applied, then a day or two later it comes off of sides, no matter how high you tape up the sides. Lot of time wasted to re-tape and then stretch wrap (I was not about to unpack all of those boxes) June 15, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Packing tape will not stick to the boxes The Heavy Duty boxes are great but my rating takes into account that I cannot find a tape that will stick to them. Packed 8 boxes last night and all 8 had opened this morning. I have tried the 3M and HDX brands of packing tape from HD and they will not stay taped up. It is super bad if the temperature is below 50 F or so. I have taped old boxes that I have and the tape holds fast. Maybe it is the re-cycled material they are made from???? January 20, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by tape does not stick i bought a bunch for a move, and the tape would not stay stuck to the boxes. it came undone within a few hours. (i bought good quality tape. that's not the problem here) i'm not sure what i am going to do. i've wasted a ton of time/energy and a fair bit of money getting my move together, and now i have to re-do it all. these boxes are a disappointment, and from the reviews, it seems like i'm not alone in this bad experience with the tape. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good for shipping. Used it for shipping it works great. I had no problems with the shipping company. May 31, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Scotch Brand packing tape doesn't stick! The cardboard is contaminated with something that doesn't let Scotch packing tape stick for long. We are getting ready to move and I checked boxes that we taped shut less than a week ago. The tape is peeling off. I've never had this happen before. We have purchased well over 60 boxes so far, and they are all this way. May 17, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by just ok The boxes are not heavy duty. a little humidity in the air and they get really flimsy. They are good if you do not fill them to heavy and they are going to be in the box for a short time. Make sure to use a little extra tape. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Buy them! Worth every penny! I purchased small, medium, and large sizes of these boxes and couldnt be more pleased. In the past, when we moved, we used freebie boxes from grocery stores, etc-never again!! These are very sturdy, and very reasonably priced, and have made our move much easier!! May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Boxes for the Price! Boxes are Excellent for the Price. They work for my needs. Downside is they brake a little to easy. May 3, 2016
