How long is the factory warranty, and who is contacted during that petiod?

If factory warranty is one year does that mean I would have a total of four years coverage?
Asked by: David
Factory warranty varies from manufacturer and product. If your product fails during the MFR warranty period, you will be transferred to the manufacturer for service. When the MFR warranty expires, the 3 year extended protection plan begins. Hope this helps. The HDPP Team

Define "extended"

The original warranty is for a total of 5 years or 2000 hours use. The first 2 years cover labor and parts, with the last 3 covering parts only. THD policy would give a total warranty of 8 years #manf + THD#. Does THD policy include labor for 6 years total #difference from the manf first 2 year labor coverage period# or will THD policy just cover parts for an additional 3 years after the manf warranty is expired?
Asked by: dante

Is an inverter needed?

This generator would be use via a transfer switch. If powering sensitive electronic equipment such as computers, should a UPS be used?
Asked by: JW
That certainly sounds like a product specific question that we are unable to answer, however a quick web search came up with this article that might help you decide.
