How to purchase 3-yr protection plan for electric dryer

I purchased a new Samsung 7.2 cu.ct. Electric Dryer on Dec. 14, 2015. I made this purchase over the phone. I was told that I could purchase an additional 3-yr Protection Plan for $69.99. I asked if I had to do it right then and he said no, that I had up to 90 days to purchase the protection Plan for that price. After that the price would go up. I have decided I do want to purchase the Protection Plan but can't find any place online to actually purchase it. How can I purchase it without having to go into the store?? Thanks, Kathleen Appell

2-Year Protection Plan for Small Appliances ($150-$199.99) is rated 1.3 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Home Depot Protection Plan am so disgusted with this plan. I have had a broken LG refrigerator for over a month. 2 technicians came out and they still needed another part. While waiting for the 3rd tech visit, they cancelled my appointment over 3 times..then a day before they were supposed to come again, i got an email that my appointment was cancelled with no explanation. I called A&E the tech company and they said they were still coming so I waited all morning - no show! Then I get a call that the part they needed to fix my refrigerator is not available and (they knew this since the last tech visit) yet they kept scheduling visits. They said I will get a replacement refrigerator. But when I called Home Depot they had no knowledge, (even though they gave me numerous approval numbers). I have been calling 3 different people (A&E tech, Assurion, and Home Depot) getting the run around. I ask for supervisors to call me back and they say I have to wait 2 business days!!!! Really? After waiting over a month being scheduled, rescheduled, given false information? Do not busy this plan, they do not live up to helping you!!!!

I Called the Home Depot Warranty number, who sent a repairman over- who stated that he didn't work on Samsung- very convenient. I then had to wait 2 weeks for a new repairman to come. However, the new repairman cancelled last minute and stated it would be another 1-2 weeks before he could come out. I am already going on 3 weeks without a washing machine. I have called the service center at home depot, who just reads from a script and will not address the issue, or make an attempt to get a repairman over sooner. This whole experience is very frustrating and I will never purchase another appliance at Home Depot again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't do it My refrigerator have been making weird loud noises . Three technicians have been out to "fix" the problem but neither one of them knows what the problem is . I was told they will Lemon out the product after three repairs . The first technician said , it's making the noise because my floor is uneven. Really? Assurion have been giving me the run around , and the customer service reps are no help either. Their favorite line is " I'm sorry , I'm not a technician, so I wouldn't be able to help" I take off work to meet the technician just for them to tell me they don't know what the problem is. Save your self some time and don't purchase this protection plan. Only thing their protecting is the money the have to pay out to Lemon your product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy !!!! Deserves a -10 Stars We purchased a 5 yr extended warranty on a Samsung washer and dryer 12/2013. The inside of the dryer began to rust and ruin our clothes, the machine was unusable- not functioning properly. I called the 800# to file a claim and was shocked when I was told that rust is not covered. I requested to speak with a Supervisor, this is why I purchased the 5yr warranty for problems like this. Chelsea, the supervisor then explained rust is a cosmetic problem! It is my understanding that cosmetic would suggest the outside of the machine, I am ok with washing my clothes in a machine that has rust on the outside as long as the inside was functional without any rust. The warranty claims to cover functioning parts!! If the parts are rusted inside the machine and you can no longer use it I would define that as a non functional appliance part . The answer I got from Chelsea was the cosmetic rust on the inside of my machine is not covered and she further explained that it is also the upkeep that can be a problem! My advice, go to Atlantic City and throw $120 in a slot machine and don't waste your time and money on a warranty that will not cover your appliance. I plan on taking this issue further, Bait and Switch!

Having problems with customer service not following through with their promise to replace my refrigerator. I have been patiently waiting for my refrigerator to be fixed for about three weeks. I myself had to call back to follow up on the status of my claim. After the service the refrigerator broke down not even two days after. I called back to get some body to fix it and they couldn't get anybody to come out to even look at it. When they found somebody to look at it it was not the same service company so they would not fix it because it is not their repair job. I again called back the customer service and they said that I should be getting a replacement for the refrigerator, it was scheduled for somebody to diagnose and then start the replacement process. When the service company came they said that it is not for diagnostic for a replacement on the unit but they were instructed to fix it. So, now I am with out a refrigerator for over a month now because they said they have to order parts and wait another 5-6 days for the part to come. I have also had to deal with spoiled food twice already and lost time from work just meet the technician (4 times and more to come). This whole experience is really getting to be ridiculous and cost me a lot of pain and suffering. I would not wish this experience anybody. Very Poor star rating!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unacceptable Response/Repair My washer stopped working on June 10th and still has not been repaired as of July 19. I contacted the Home Depot Protection Plan on June 13th to request a repair. I spent over an hour on the phone with the representative trying to locate my plan information with no luck. I called back on June 14th and was able to get to the right person to find my info in Home Depot’s system. The first repair wasn't completed until July 2nd. The washer still didn't work correctly and I arranged for another repair visit on July 6th. That appointment was cancelled. The next available appointment wasn't for 2 weeks, on July 16th. That appointment was rescheduled for July 19th. The company that came out attempted a repair and after testing claimed that the washer would function properly. The washer is still not working and I will have to arrange for yet another repair visit requiring me to miss additional time from work. I have been without my washer for over 6 weeks and do not know when another repair will even be attempted. I have spent countless hours calling to arrange for service with home depot. Not too mention the time and expense of finding alternatives to wash our family's clothes. Everyone I have spoken with has been helpful, but the process and the amount of time it is taking to get repair service is unacceptable.
