Have been using these bags for years without problems. Bought bags this week after I ran out from last year. And what a difference. Even with a small amount of grass clippings they are ripping easily. Can't even touch without large rips. Just put 2 bags out for recycling and fear they will not get to the truck and will be all over the street in the morning. Will need to find another supplier will not buy again.

I, too have used these bags for years. Have put way more waste in them than recommended and rarely had a bag fail on me. This season, I would say that 7 out of 10 bags rip with even the smallest twig put in them. We have had to double bag our yard waste, effectively doubling the cost of the bags. I will try the bags at Target or Lowes next before buying these again.

Unlike previously purchased Home Depot yard bags, these bags are light weight, suffering easy punctures. They have no wet strength. After an evening rain, they split open the next day on the way to the curb. Previous Home Depot bags performed much better.

They must have change their supplier. Bags were separating (2 layers thick) Small twigs broke right through the bag. On my way to the curb 2 out of 5 bags broke wide open. Now in plastic bags that won't be recycled.

Used to be outstanding. Strong, durable, even when wet. Just bought three five packs when last year's supply ran out. Now they're flimsy and tear easily. Had to use packing tape to hold bags together at the curb. Will be returning unused bags and buying Costco's bags instead.
