Answer:
it depends on how thick the painting surface is, and how dry. If totally dry, I would suggest taping a sheet of glassine over the entire front and edges of the painted size, taping to the back of the stretcher bars. Then, over that, put a flat piece of crescent board or foam board at least as large as the canvas, and tape that down also to the back of the stretchers on all sides. Then wrap with heavy wrapping paper, taped closed. Then add the corners and place in the box. If the box is too wide and the painting flops around, you can even put another painting, similarly wrapped, face to face, but best with another piece of board between the two. So, a good fit, but not so tight it exerts pressure. Load it vertically, not flat, into the back seat of your car or tied or in a crate in the truck; be sure box is held gently in position, and will not flop around.. But if the painting is 'sculpurallly thick', you'd best put in a painting frame (with a narrow spacer) that protrudes at least a couple of inches beyond the thickest paint (or inserted object), as the middle of the canvas can still flex forward during travel.\, especially if large. Answer:
I have used it to ship a stretched canvas across the country and it worked perfectly. I wrapped the canvas up really nicely and used the foams to make sure it was secure.

Answer:
No I deliver artwork and do not suggest it bc it could damage the canvas and ruin the painting. Use a moving blankets or canvas blankets to cover each piece and or use custom built crates on wheels

Answer:
I purchased this item because I moved from NY to FL. The 'kit' included the telescoping box and 4-foam corners to protect the TV corners. Also included was a very large foam/plastic bag that was large enough to hold my 55" flat panel TV. The box worked perfectly and I would highly recommend this item for anyone needing to pack up their flat panel TV.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 90 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good moving boxes for tv Moved several flat screen Ty's as large as 70 inches from PA to FL All arrived in perfect condition June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well worth the $$ This box worked great for moving a 55 inch tv. It comes with padded corners for the tv and a plastic wrap to put over the tv. It can be used for large pictures or mirrors too. The box is very sturdy and has handles built into it. The box can be used over and over again. It is kind of big, even when closed. Storing this box may be an issue for some people. Overall, very satisfied, glad I got it. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Recommended! I bought about 15 of these expandable boxes to move my art. They worked great for me. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy and adjustable The box was expandable because of The two overlapping box parts. I used the boxes to pack pictures, mirrors and televisions. The cardboard was sturdy, and came with a screen cover and four styrofoam ends to protect a flatscreen. Cost was half of what the movers old have charged. Very easy to pack May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Needed a TV box Have not packed it yet but it appears sturdy enough for my needs May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great TV moving boxes at a reasonable price I purchased two boxes online and had a friend pick them up, which was a smooth process. The boxes are adjustable and include corner buffers and a static guard bag for the television sets. My two TVs are different sizes, but that is OK because the boxes are adjustable, and I was able to manage getting my TVs into them myself. They are made of durable material and I will store them in my attic to use again the next time I move. I typically order things on Amazon, but the price for similar items was significantly higher, and didn't include buffers. If you are using a moving company, they will charge you $100+ for a similar box. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good shipping box Very good size shipping box for larger items like large artworks. Difficult to find this size in small quantities on line or at any store. I shipped a collapsible baby crib. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent quality and price for this product The price of all home depot moving boxes is excellent compared to other vendors, the TV box is 1/3 of the cost of similar boxes if the moving company provides them. One of the tapes sold does not stick to the boxes, 3M. The other tape HDX does. March 15, 2016
