The MK-E R8.0 acoustical flexible duct offers exceptional sound control. Its acoustically rated chlorinated polyethylene core allows sound energy transmission through the core and insulation, and into the plenum space. A highly efficient, self-extinguishing duct, the M-KE is suitable for use in all pressure heating and cooling systems.

How rigid is this product compared to regular flex duct?

Would like to know if this is more rigid than regular flex duct, whether it resists crushing/ flattenening compared to regular flex duct, and if it require hangers to install (if hangers are required, what is the spacing).
