We purchased this sink in black and it looks like trash after 2 yrs and have got to replace it

The black just did not hold up. Our granite tops were cut for this sink and I wanted to see if you make this sink stainless or something that holds up better. Also see others are having the same problem with the black even with a lifetime waranty.

I just typed my review of this same exact sink. And our time frames of purchase were in the same.. Being your post was put out there a year ago and your saying the sink was 2 yrs old... In my post minutes ago I mentioned that my sink was 3 yrs old. My sink was more or less scratched in a week...A month later it was as if the micro scratches were just showing up. After the first year there was nothing I could do to stop the dulling of the plastic surface. I only really used one sink basin to clean in, the other I used for cleaning vegetables and such... And still the sides and the bottom were dulling out more and more with use. It is now 3 yrs and I am replacing the sink because I have a leaky pipe below the sink... So being I have to take the drain pipes off I may as well get that dirty dull sink out of there.. I mean to say, it works, but its just dull. The bright shiny plastic from day one is long gone. Oh but hey.... that sink looked awesome the first day I brought it home and unpacked it... No other sink out there had that contoured edging on top... It really is a nice design.. It would be really nice to see that design in the black cast iron types.. But if so they would likely cost $500 and better for the difference in materials.

Does red sink hold up better than the black?

I am very confused after reading the reviews - they are almost split down the middle between lowest and highest ratings!! I noticed that the red sink, which is which is what I want, received consistently good ratings (at least initially). Can I hear from any red-sink buyers who have had the sink 6 or more months about its durability? Are you experiencing the types of problems that seem commoon to black sink buyers in the reviews (finish damage, polish leaving white residue, flaking of surface etc)?

Breckenridge Drop-In Acrylic 33 in. 2-Hole Double Bowl Kitchen Sink in Dusty Rose is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 141.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kitchen sink Got this because it was black and had the right dimensions underneath. Home Depot had very limited choices for standard dimensions like these. Installation was also poor with missed caulking and very rough faucet pivot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Sink! We installed this sink about 1 year ago. Although while we don't handle it with "kit gloves", we are reasonably careful with it and have cleaned and maintained it per the instructions. It now looks terrible. It's scratched and faded on the bottom and now it has developed small cracks and crazing in the sink. Don't buy this sink if it's going to get any use at all. I'm dreading the thought of having to pull it out and replace it after just one year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Kitchen My kitchen remodel is now a total disaster within 24 hours of installing this sink. This sink was so beautiful in the store and the black really complemented my color scheme. After the install I thought I would clean off the plumbers prints 1/23/2015. With the greatest intent to protect the integrity of the finish, I purchased Ivory liquid to wash the sink. Well after a good rinse and sponge dry the finish is gone. The more I wiped the worst it became. It looks horrible now. Contacted the manufacturer with no luck!! Lifetime customer of Home Depot and love to shop there!! However, this is the worst purchase ever. Please remove this item from your store!! Buyer Beware!!

I had this sink in my kitchen in Fairbanks, Alaska for the past couple of years and absolutely LOVED it SO much that I'm happy to see I can still get it for my new kitchen here in Texas! I'm really into cooking and use a lot of heavy pans, so I used some rubber pebble mats in the bottom of it to protect the finish and was careful to follow the manufacturer's directions regarding care. This is an awesome product.

I'm ordering my second one after having my first one for 10 years. The only reason why I'm getting a new one is because my elderly grandmother would at times place a hot pot in the smaller sink and it eventually cracked the finish and liquids would stain. The larger right side looks like brand new, even after all of these years. Now if only my refrigerator was made this well. :)

On the sink that I received, the right-hand hole (soap dispenser/sprayer) is drilled in the far corner of the sink-top. Not ideal, but I made it work. Otherwise, this was an exact replacement for a sink that I had installed ~10 years ago. I was happy to see that it was still available.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst sink ever DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY Had this sink for a year. I actually baby it. No harsh cleaners on this sink yet it still managed to lose it's shine and is actually worn out in spots. We don't put any hot on it and have a mat on the bottom. I bought the sink for it's looks. Now it looks like garbage. At $199.99 you would think you would get more use out of it. I now will have to replace with one of the cheapest sinks I find. It will probably hold up better! DON"T BUY THIS PIECE OF garbage YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY On IT> I"M TELLING THE TRUTH> BIG DISAPPOINTMENT>Try to recover on the lifetime warranty Ha now that's a joke
