I ordered the Table and Love seat set. Easy to put togather works better with two people. The coffee table has a dent on the corner. The patio table had a dent on the side and on the top. Both table are on reorder, I will have to take them appart to put the new tops on the tables when they come. I got the set when it was on sale so the price was OK. I would not have been happy if I paid full price for the condition that it came in. Easy to get the new table tops to replace the damaged ones..coffee table is on back order.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by pwdr68 Comfortable chairs and good quality
I only wish that I didn't have to order this via the Internet and have it delivered. I had to re-order one entire chair, as the holes on the bottom chair brace (the first brace you put together in the instructions) had the holes drilled in the wrong place, off by about 2 cm. One of the chair backs was bent from transfer. If the delivery was not so hard on this dining set (as it is aluminum) it would be a 5-star all around, as it is good value, made well, and goes together well, and looks very good when together.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by shifty So glad we waited
We waited a year for this set to go on sale again. So glad we did. I found this set relatively easy to assemble. We picked up at our local store vs having home delivery. I would recommend this so you get the chance to see any shipment damage. Set was packaged well and looks great on our patio.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RIC37012 Very good set
All nuts, bolts were shrink wrapped so everything was included. The cheap wrench included was of no use so have a socket set or open end wrench available. You'll need both SAE and metric available as one set of bolts with nuts were metric.
Everything lined up and assembly as easy. Not impressed on the chairs and how the rock (front to back).
ALSO NOTE: the weight limit on the chairs is 250 lbs. So, if you weigh or have someone who intends on using the chair and weighs more than 250 lbs don't be caught off guard. There's a weight limit sticker on the back of each chair. Just so you are aware of this.
Included cushions are fine and easily attach to the chairs.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Girliegirl Beautiful set
I ordered this set and received it approximately 5 days earlier than their stated delivery date. Unfortunately, when assembling the set, I realized one of the pieces was severely damaged, although the packing and packaging was perfect. Apparently the item was damaged PRIOR to being packed.
I am awaiting the replacement chair now. With the rest of the pieces set up, I do like the look of the set. The other reviews that mentioned the back rest cushion overstuffing were right, they are too thick. I'm hoping they flatten a bit with use. Additionally, I am a middle aged woman and put the set together in approximately 3 hours. It was pretty simple.

This set is very large so you will want to make sure your space is big enough for it. It is well made and looks just as nice as the photo. The chair cushions are thick and make you sit up straight. but the chairs are fairly comfortable without the back cushion if you want to lounge.
Each piece requires assembly. Instructions were detailed and once you get one chair put together the rest go pretty fast. The table is heavy so it helps to have two people. A small tool is included but you really need a socket wrench/ratchet to avoid frustration when tightening all those bolts. Our table arrived dented and scratched and Home Depot says they will exchange it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LeeC So far we are very satisfied with the purchase.
The table and chairs arrived early and without any damage. It took several hours to put it together by myself except with a little help to turn the table upright. The directions seemed relatively clear and all the holes and connections matched correctly. The only problem I experienced was self-induced. I did not pay careful enough attention to the type bolts on two of the chairs, discovered my error when I ran out of that type bolt and corrected the problem in about ten minutes. Since we have only had it a few weeks we can not speak to the durability but it looks good and based on our research is an excellent value when getting the $400 off the original price.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tulipz Low quality and uncomfortable
The Messina set requires you to assemble it, but holes do not always line up with screws. You may have to do some "persuasion" to make them connect. The cushions look thick but are not dense. I weigh only 145 pounds, and when I sit on these cushions, very soon I feel the chair's rigid aluminum bands underneath, and it becomes uncomfortable. The feet on the chairs are small and do not slide easily on a wooden deck. Overall, the set looks nice cosmetically, but that's not enough. It's a cheap set. I wish I had bought higher quality patio furniture at someplace like Berk's, even though it would've cost me double or more.
