Palmetto Estates 7-Piece Patio Dining Set-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific dining set for our porch! In a word - Excellent. Packed expertly, fit and finish were first rate. Assembly instructions were clear. The actual assembly of the set was easy...although it helped having an extra set of hands when assembling the chairs' leg assembly. I do have one suggestion - while the kit came with 4mm Allen wrenches, I would suggest purchasing a 4mm Hex Driver Socket using a 3/8" drive. For one thing the steel in the driver socket is going to be less prone to rounding the way the Allen key did, The 3/8" drive also allows for the use of a socket wrench, and that made the assembly go much faster.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware! Do NOT Purchase. Lasted Less than 2 Years We have had this patio set for 22 months. It has severely cracked and the paint has peeled all over. It looks horrible. I contacted Thomasville corporate. They said they only warranty outdoor furniture for 1 year and had zero concern that their furniture does not last. I will never buy Thomasville furniture again. I expected better from them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great set...get it on sale We have had this set for two years and have been pretty happy with it. We love the look of the wood and woven seats and back of the chairs. Use a drill with the allen bit to assemble. The chairs we used the regular allen on were not as secure. Keep in mind the wood table top falls through and is tough to clean between them (look good though). Some wear of the wood after a year or so, but nothing a quick stain can't repair. We bought the set for $599 and still think it was a great deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall good, with one major manufacturing flaw that drove me nuts Assembling the chairs was horribly difficult. I had to struggle hard to tighten the bolts with the supplied hex wrenches, and they kept stripping, because I was having to turn them so hard. I had to buy more at the store, and even the better quality ones stripped -- and broke. The I realized the problem: the bolts are longer than the drilled holes! I was twisted bolts into hard wood. I got a drill out and drilled all the holds half an inch deeper, and put WD-40 on the bolts to lube them. That solved the problem -- after I wasted hours of unnecessary discomfort and frustration. The end result is a good set of furniture. But really, this is a rookie mistake in manufacturing. If you can fix the problem yourself (assuming your set has the same flaw) it works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking, solid patio set Wood is high quality, nice color, feels substantial. We've had it two weeks, and we are in love with it. Took about 3 hrs to put together, the allen wrench they give you is flimsy, so i used one I had, worked much better. Not too hard to put together, but having a holder/helper would make it quicker. Comfortable and looks great. We got it at 50% off which pushed it from a 4 star, to a 5 star. Very happy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from different color than picture suggests Overall, this seemed like a well-constructed set - very solid wood. But it is stained a much darker color than the image on the website would indicate. Even the brochure that came with the set shows a much lighter stain than it actually is. While on the website it looks closer to a honey color, it is actually very dark, redish stain. Also, the chairs are not comfortable. Ultimately, I returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy to put together.. it is a beautiful set! A very nice table that is heavy and sturdy. Chairs are also heavy and need 2 people to assemble. We used our own tools, as the ones it came with are a joke. Read the instructions before you start to put it together..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This furniture is solid, and weathers great ! We have really enjoyed the patio love seat, chairs and tables, we purchased last year, so when the matching outdoor dining table and chairs showed up on the Home Depot web site, we didn't hesitate to buy them. Assembly was very easy. This set is a great value.
