Hoped this product would allow us to avoid the mess of snap traps, but unfortunately we were wrong. Heard sounds in the cottage attic at 5 a.m., so placed 2 bait stations up there and 2 more in the basement. Went back 2 weeks later, and the problem was worse! Placed both old school wooden snap traps and 4 more bait stations around the basement this time. It became quickly obvious the snap traps were the more effective option.

Bought this after seeing a mouse scurry around the edge of my living room the night prior. I like that it came in a 4-pack so that I could place a couple in the suspect places where it might have came from. It wasn't until 2 days after that my wife saw the mouse slowly walking around the dining room. It made it really easy for me to catch as its movement was severely delayed...assuming that it ate some of the nerve poison bait. We got rid of the mouse and haven't seen anything since. I went ahead and sealed the box, storing it away just in case we ever need to place them again. Will leave traps in their current position for the entirety of winter, then will throw them out. Hopefully we don't see any more mice. Great product! Beats using D-CON or something else that my dog or daughter could get a hold of and eat. Pet and baby proof was a big +++.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BFranM Yes it DOES work. Takes a couple of days.
The other reviewer who said it doesn't work ("ate and ran") doesn't understand that the poison takes a couple of days to kill the mouse. The mouse will die from internal bleeding. Gross, but efficient, I'm not sympathetic to rodents in my home.

Absolutely worthless product. I placed four of them throughout my home. Not only did it not kill any mice but it seemed to attract more of them. They eat the bait and keep coming back for more. Whatever they use as bait might as well be used to feed them as pets. Do not buy this product! The old fashion Victor traps work best. Also, if this product had actually worked. Who wants poisoned, dead mice all over their house?? At least with the Victor traps, the dead mouse stays with the trap.

Evidence of green crumbs around the station. No mouse in the box. It ate and ran.
