Tomcat Mole Killer is designed to kill moles by attracting them with earthworm-shaped bait. The bait mimics a mole's natural food source and is enhanced with an attractant, so it is quickly ingested. Moles typically die in their tunnels, often within 12 to 24 hours after eating a single worm bait. The box contains 10 worm-shaped baits.

  • Mimics the mole's natural food source, the earthworm, for effective mole extermination
  • Typically kills moles in a single feeding
  • Moles usually die within 12 to 24 hours after ingesting bait
  • Contains special enhancers to attract moles

Answer:
Not if your pet is a mole. But seriously, if applied correctly this will be fine around other pets. If you leave out sitting out, it IS laced with a pesticide and could be harmful.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 24 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Caddy Shack Moles Followed the directions... pushed the worms 18"-24" down the hole and covered up the entrance . Two days later the worms were laying on the ground outside a new mound (pretty dang funny if you ask me). Put the rejected worms in a zip lock and took them back to Home Depot. The returns desk got a big laugh out of it, too. Big question now is what to do about the moles... I guess I need to watch Caddy Shack and see how Bill Murray got rid of the gophers. : ) May 21, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by junk This thing was a waste of time for me. It didnt work and was next to inpossible to set in the ground. I checked the depth, dug deep and wide enough trenches that basically left a big hole in the yard virtually destroying the mole tunnel becuase it wouldnt set, and even them with putting all my weight into it was next to impossible to set and when i did finally succeed nothing. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't wast your money! We have mole colonies in our back yard and I have tried using this product over the period of 9 months and not once have I trapped a mole. BIG waste of hard earned money. Might have well buried it in the back yard. March 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Short lived hope Followed instructions. Placed worms deep into active tunnels being careful not to touch the worms directly. Gophers are not interested in them. Quickly ignored and kicked them out of the burrow. Gophers never took a single bite out them, and were clearly pushed out in spite of being far into their tunnels. I really wanted these to work. Expensive experiment. February 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Same item Pest Control Tech use The Key to product sucess is you must wear gloves while handling baits or mole will smell human scent on baits and will avoid them. January 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not work Product has been in place 5 days. Runs are still active. December 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Give it 3 days..and you WON'T see new activity from that mole run! I wrote a review originally comparing myself to Bill Murray trying to kill the gopher in "Caddyshack." Now I'm victorious. First and foremost, go out and crush the mole runs and mounds. Go out the next day and see which runs are active. You cut the worm in half to save, use a screwdriver make a hole, drop the worm into the run, cover the hole up...and wait. Each day I'd go out and crush the runs and mounds again to track progress. Then one day, you'll go out, and there won't be any raised runs or mounds. And if you're lucky, you'll see the dead mole somewhere around the area. I've found 2 dead moles, but the other runs I'm assuming they died undeground. Works great! September 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This works! Tried all types pf products without success. This is the only thing that worked. It took only two days for the moles to be gone once i put the worms in the ground! November 14, 2015
