Got this shovel just before the blizzard of 2016. We had 28 inches here in Brooklyn NY and the shovel met the challenge with ease. Two neighbors took it for a 'test drive' during the storm and went to buy one! It's made for up to 6" of snow but handled a few inches more than that without lifting the thing. And when I did lift it to blow away the top few inches of snow, it was light and not an issue. I even blew the snow over my car, parked in the driveway, from front to rear to get my car out. The one issue I had was the screw that holds the adjustable handle in place, vibrated out. I contacted Touro customer service and they quickly sent me a replacement free of charge, as a courtesy. Excellent customer service! I will fix that problem with a piece of tape over the screw. This is well worth the price.

I will admit, I was hesitant to give this one a shot, but it was the only thing in stock before the 2016 blizzard.
First things first, you need this to understand this is a power shovel, not a slow blower. I think some reviews take away because it's missing some features you would expect on a larger, more expensive blower. This thing went right through 6" snow as claimed, throwing it quite a good distance. Even after it started tuning to slush, it still threw it enough to manage. I was even able to tame the lovely mountain VDOT leaves at the end of the driveway when you're done shoveling. You can still start at the top of deeper snow and work your way down, just make sure it hasn't turned to ice inside. The only real drawback is the wind blowing the dust back in your face is pretty cold, you can however, just turn in the other direction. Did pretty good for my driveway going side to side as not to re shovel the same snow.

I bought this power shovel for clearing off a flat roof. I have not used it for that but did use it several times for my walkway and back deck. A difficult place to get my regular snow blower. It really throws the snow! Surprisingly even the wet stuff.
The cons: I had used and older one many years ago that deflector fins that directed the snow off to the side. The new versions don't have that. So you have to angle the thrower to direct the snow.
Another issue is it is tricky for a lefty to activate the switch.
Overall it works as promised and it will get a workout. It will be perfect for clearing my flat roof.

I have a decent sized Ariens snowblower that I have to maneuver on my steep driveway without slipping on the surface & having the blower run away from me or run me over. This is a much easier solution to my problem as long as it's not snowing 2ins or more an hour. My only wish for this product was that it was battery or small gas engine mix operational. I hate having to worry about having a long enough extention cord, where to plug it in (inside or outside) & where it is so I don't run it over. I would DEFINITELY recommend this product to those who can't afford a snowblower. Oh and it saves my broken back if I need to get out the house in a hurry.

The power shovel exceeded expectations to clear 25" of snow off a 40 ft. driveway. This product is designed for 6" or less of snow, not a record setting blizzard. The directions recommend lifting the shovel to remove snow in layers which works, however with drifting and street plowing piles, the snow depth was 45" at the end of the drive. The snow was fluffy but packed down due to drifting. By knocking the snow with a snow shovel into heights of 6", the power shovel blew the snow away, even the plow piles, with ease. Yes, it was work, but the job was completed without having to throw snow manually. No sore back from shoveling.

This shovel does not have a directional flow for snow. You have to face the direction the wind is blowing in order to be able to get any snow moved if you don't want a face full of snow. It's also heavy so if you have to pick it up to attack snow more than half a foot high, then you will get a sore back quickly.
Ultimately, it works great if you have a couple inches on the ground, and the wind is blowing in the right direction. Otherwise this isn't a product I would use. In recent Snowzilla, I used it once, put it away and tackled the snow with a manual shovel instead. Was faster.

The power shovel was light weight and easy yo use. Cleared my sidewalks very nicely without the backbreaking shoveling I use to have to do. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for an electric snow shovel.

I only got to use this tool once this year.
It helped me to shovel the snow faster but I feel it is a little bit hard to move around if the snow is think. Also, I need to press the buttons using 2 fingers properly to keep the machine running. If not, it stopped.
Overall, I think using this tool is still a better way to clean the snow quicker than shovel by hand.
