Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unreliable and tedious Toro Warranty Mine broke after less than 10 hours of use. I was using it to move fresh and soft snow. It would intermittently fail to turn on and the electric motor would power on for a split second before shutting off. I suspect that maybe there was some kind of loose connection. I may have been unlucky with this purchase. This occurred after Home Depot return policy. Being an electric snowblower, I was told by Toro customer service that it's generally not serviceable but should be able to get a warranty filed through Toro dealers, though not all of them will do it. (You'll have to call around, Toro customer service may be some help) However, if your electric snowblower needs repairs after the 2 year warranty you may be seriously out of luck. February 2, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unit broke down on 90th day I was at first happy with this product but unfortunately it broke down after 4 usage. The unit is refusing to start. I'm hoping I can return it without any problems to Home Depot February 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 1500 Power Curve I hv bought this cute small snow thrower from home depot today. Infact today we had about 5 cms of snow fall and I had an opportunity to test my snow thrower. I havd fun using this even though I am using the machine for the first time. Easy to assemble and use. Since I am not used to machine before, I had some difficulty in manouvering and directing the chute. But within few minutes I hv started to enjoy and I went on to clear my neighbour drive way and side walk. The only thing need to take care is your cord and find the right cord as per manual recommened. December 29, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great little blower My neighbor was out with his big blower. I took this little one out today and had it back in the house cleaned while he still was doing his! I also have a bigger blower but it was snowed in. I,m too old now to use it. Works as well as a shovel, but the benefit is I don't break my back shoveling, and it worked today in wet snow. Well worth the price. February 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by what a great machine I held out getting a snow blower for years, then decided to dip my toe in the water this year with this compact, low-cost machine. It has exceded my expectations many times over. There has been so much snow fall this winter, and this blower has made easy work of it all. I highly recommend this snow blower. February 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Blower The perfect snowblower for smaller jobs such as decks, patios and pathways. Very light and easy to carry from place to place. Would definitely recommend this product. January 31, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Toro Electric Snowthrower This product is a little monster. We bought it for my mother's very large deck and we are very much impressed by the type of snow it will handle and the distance it will throw it. I was a little sceptical, when reading some of the reviews before our decision to buy, but I am not disappointed. It is a light machine, meant to be used for light duty. We are very pleased with our purchase. February 11, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Toro - the little blower that could I promised myself that I would write this review to help others. If you are looking for a small blower that does not take up space in your garage or house and IF you are looking for something to help the load of your back from shoveling snow, then read on. If not, go buy an expensive $800 snow blower. I used this blower last week for the first time and I was happy with the product after it helped with the remainder of snow we had from a previous storm. After using it, I was hoping for more snow - sounds weird I know. Well, we got it an more! It snowed 20-25 cm over the weekend. I went out with this little machine and it was amazing. Now, you cannot expect it to clean 2 feet of snow and throw it away. You need to take small parts at a time and then go back for the rest. In the end, your driveway will be clean and you will have less stress on your back. In fact, my neighbor came out with his large monster snow blower. My little Toro could have been jealous, but it kept on cleaning - not afraid of the big blower next door. In fact, my neighbor spent so much time with the choke and issues with his gas blower and in the end I was done in no time. The only issue you will have is with the cord, moving it all the time and the key kept slipping out (like others have mentioned). Besides that...get this machine and keep your expectations that it is an inexpensive small blower. Lastly, the city snow plow came and happily dumped the snow in front after I was done. Be not afraid, I went out and used the Toro no problem. In fact, I went in the back and did the deck and a walkway all around the house to the shed. Good job Toro. December 17, 2013
