Customer Questions & Answers

Does the 15 in blower come with the cord and if so, how long is the cord?

I do not see a cord advertised in the specs online however a Home Depot just man told me the cord was included so I am confused.................. Also, if the cord is to be bought separately - what type should I get and about what is the cost?
Asked by: haras50
No, I bought a 100 ft cord in a hardware store for about $15. Works fine. I think I bought a #10, but I am not sure.

Asked by: NeedSomeHelp
It must remain plugged in during its use (like a floor lamp.)

How much does the Toro 1500 electric snow blower weigh

Asked by: Anonymous
Not much, less than 25 pounds so good for handling and sufficient for snow operations. Great little performer but the interlock key system is disappointing

15 in. Power Curve Electric Snow Blower is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 169.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor I bought this 3 years ago and now does not even start. I expect it to last 5-10 years and it was barely used as I have a high powered one as well. I called 3-4 places in Ottawa and none service electric snow blowers. If you decide to buy please be aware that service after warranty will be impossible to find.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works pretty good for it's size We purchased for sole purpose of clearing out our 2 dog pens. The big machine wouldn't fit in the gate and this beats shoveling snow by hand. I think it slowed down more than expected but the snow was about 10" powder. Satisfied with the purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what I need it to do I got it to clear snow off our back deck. What I like best is that it has a directional discharge chute so I can direct snow away from the house to where I want it to go. It can't handle the super-heavy snow that slides off the metal roof of the house 2 stories above, but that's more than I would expect it to do. It has no trouble moving a typical snowfall. Only problem is the interlock key mechanism that seems to be an unnecessary nuisance. Every time I release the bail I've got use the key to start again -- not easy because this is a winter appliance and I'm wearing gloves. Why isn't squeezing the bail to the handle enough? (That's how lawnmowers work)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The 1500 power curve does a great job blowing snow! Today we had 8 inches of new snow. What would have taken me over half a day to shovel I did in less than 20 minutes and then did my neighbor's drive in less than 15 minutes. Easy to operate, light weight and safe to use on wooden decks. I am well pleased and highly recommend the 1500 power curve for snow removal. My drive is a 2 car drive and it handled the removal well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for some snow This worked well with really dry snow. It blew it really high (watch for the direction of the wind) and in a general direction. I wish I could have changed the arc of the blown snow, though (it was blown REALLY high). It also wouldn't work on the more frozen and wet snow underneath. But it got through some of the bank at the end of the driveway.
