I bought this product for 2 reasons:
1. It's a Toro. The brand is highly rated and came recommended to me by multiple sources.
2. I can safely store it in a very small space (see picture). I can stick it on the side of my garage and still have room to get out of the passenger side door.
Other than that it does it's job. It starts up, it cuts grass.
Can't rate it higher than 4 stars because I've only owned it for a couple of weeks.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by p5150 Mower control cables rub against rear wheel.
I just purchased this self propelled front wheel drive Toro mower and pulled it out of the box and installed the engine oil and gas. The mower immediately started with one pull of the starter cord. I'm overall pleased with my purchase except for one issue that needs to be corrected. The factory in Mexico that made this, must have poor quality control. Both control cables that go up the left side of the handle from the mower deck, rub against the top of the left rear wheel. It appears that the cables are too long and need shortened. I contacted Toro and they state that I should take it to my local Toro service center for repair. That's a 45 minute drive for me. A brand new mower costing $329 shouldn't need to be repaired right out of the box.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by LookingForNewMower Disappointed - design flaws and QA issues
Not what I expected. The SmartStow feature seemed nice, but came with compromises that took away from the mower. The handle height was not comfortable, much to low with no adjustment. I would be bending at the waist too much to turn the mower. The gas cap was missing out of the box and under the deck the drive belt was exposed, couldn’t tell if designed this way or if a cover was missing. As in some other posts, the cables are definitely too long and rest on on top the left rear wheel with way too much slack. This is probably needed to fold the handle for stowing. Enough negatives for me to promptly put back in the box and return to the store.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Disch Very good mower
I'm 6'3" and 60 years young. Bought this mower after doing a lot of reading and research, Had a rating of a B+ and so for, after 4 cuttings very happy. Lots of power and the self propel is fast if you keep it wide open, but for me it could go even faster. Yes the handle is a little low but not bad for me being 6"3". certainly don't want it any lower. Only been using the side discharge shoot and mulching so far. Haven't used the bag and normally don't. Went together easily and started right up first time any yes the power cable rubs a rear wheel a little but can easily be fixed with a zip tie. folding and storing is simply. Height adjustment is easy too.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Candyotte Great, except...
I love that this mower can do mulching, bagging, etc. It's amazing with the fold-up since I have a very small garage. I also love that it is self-propelled. That was until I got blisters on my hands from using it. My yard is quite uneven, so I end up having to literally lift up the entire back of the mower to get the front wheels on the ground since the self-propelling only comes from the front wheels. At least if the back wheels were the ones propelling the machine, it wouldn't be so bad... Oh, and my husband has complained that the handle is not nearly long enough for him, and he's about 6'1".

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kimberly Good mower for small to medium sized yards
The 2 pull guarantee is real. I've never had to pull more than 3 times tops. This only holds enough gas to cut half of my 1/3 acre yard. I love the fold and store feature. I fold it up after use and slide it behind a door. I haven't used the bag since the first cut. It fills up too quickly and the mower cuts the clippings pretty finely so I don't really need to bag or to rake after mowing. I love the propulsion. I have a very steep drop off in my yard and this makes it up the hill will very little effort.
All-in-all, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Wow, it takes up so much less room in our shed and the larger motor really makes a difference in speed and cutting power. The only down side to this mower is that it does use more gas to cut the lawn, but you get done sooner !
Use of Flex-fuel with Ethanol is not recommended, associate cautioned us to use Rec-fuel which does not contain Ethanol. Overall, we think it's great !

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MajorDomo13 Starts first pull every pull.
A very good mower for the money.
• Starts on first pull without a fuel primer bulb.
• The smartstow feature makes it easy to fold up and store vertically out of the way in our crowded garage.
• Disperses fine grass clippings evenly. No need to use the bag if grass isn't too long or wet. The bag feature works great—I use it when the grass is high or there's a lot of leaves/weeds.
NOT SO GOOD STUFF:
• Self-propelled speed is too slow, there's a manual adjustment to control speed, I have mine maxed out. I had the Toro Personal Pace mower for 12 years, its speed was variable and faster.
• Push handle too low for me, I'm 6'1". I'm tall, but not that tall.
• Wheels are made of HOLLOW PLASTIC like a cheap kids' ride-on toy, reducing traction and my faith in American engineering. Even my kid's LEGO vehicles have rubber wheels.
