Answer:
With engines in walk-behind lawn mowers, we use gross torque ratings to measure the engine’s power rather than horsepower. Gross Torque is the immediate twisting force required to turn a blade at a given moment. Thus, torque is the way to measure the rotational force a machine can produce which is exactly what a walk behind mower does as it cuts grass. The gross torque for this mower is 6.75 ft.-lb.

It is approx. 4-5 hp. Manufacturers now make and quote in torque so it is hard to exactly figure out. Don't worry, this mower is powerful. I have one with exact engine except mine is the high wheel. Great mower.

There are 4 notches back and front. Raise the mower to the highest notch setting for the front and back. This will be the 4 in. highest setting. Drop down to the next notch front and back. This will drop the mower down to the 3 in. cut. Each notch dropped will be 1 in. in cut height. Most specialist LAWN CARE COMPANIES recommend a height of 2 in. Unfortunately this product was not designed to support a larger rear wheel. Please look into our 20371 mower with a 22" cutting deck, Kohler engine, and 11" rear high wheels.

Answer:
Yes. Your Model 20370, low wheels is the same as Model 20371, high wheels. I am assuming you already have bought the low wheel version. The Toro high wheels are $22 each. If you have not bought the low wheel yet, HD has the high wheel Model 20371 for $299, a great deal. The low wheel Model 20370 is $289. For just $10 more you can get the high wheel Model 20371. Good luck!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It's not your Dad's Toro I grew up decades ago with my Dad "teaching" me to cut the grass with our Toro. It always worked! Something has drastically changed. After 30 years I decided to start cutting my own grass and specifically wanted a Toro, but it was a huge mistake. Do not buy this lawn mower, it won't start after the first season and will require that you take it in for service at least once a year after that. I have emptied the gas tank at the end of every season, changed the oil, and gone out of my way to buy gasoline without any additives. In other words I've treated it the way Toro said it should be treated. For two years in row the mower only starts occasionally and requires $100+ worth of service each year. The "Guaranteed to Start" badge proudly displayed on the front of mower doesn't mean anything. Oh, and the cheap plastic gas and oil caps and threads were damaged after about 90 days worth of use. I believe a residential lawn mower ought to last more than 3 years. I finally gave up on it and bought a Honda. First reactions are that it's a superior mower in every respect. May 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Quality I expected WAY better quality from Toro , which is why I selected that brand. I brought it home , took it out of the box to assemble. The Pull Bars ( needed to run motor AND for Self Propelling) did not fit properly and keep falling off while trying to operate motor. Since I am a single Mom, I now have to find someone to load it back up and TRY to return it. I end up buying a new push mower every couple years and this will be the LAST time I buy a Toro. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What a piece of junk I purchased this mower June of 2014. The manual talks about "winterizing" your mower, but the truth is the Kohler engines are just pure junk. This was my first (and last) Toro mower I will ever buy. It can't even sit two months in non-winter climate before you have to take it into the shop. I've done this once already and have yet to have winter occur in my area this year. And, as usual, it sat for a little while and now it won't start again. I'm just going to junk it because having to spend 1/3rd of the purchase price in 18 months to take it into the shop is ridiculous. My previous mower was a Craftsman with a Briggs and Stratton engine. Amazingly the "old technology" started up after a winter without all the hassle of storing my Toro, it ran for years without a hitch, didn't burn oil and had a gas tank cap that would close all the time without leaking. I bought Toro because I thought I was buying quality. But I was wrong. I bought a piece of junk that has ended up costing me far more than it's worth. Never again will I ever buy a piece of Toro gear. I hope others read this and similar reviews and realize that Toro is no longer the brand it used to be. December 26, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lawn mower won't start Won't start, had it in the shop a few times to clean carburetor and it will start for a while but it takes more and more pulls to start it until it finally stops working November 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT BUY THIS MOWER! This mower is an absolute piece of Junk. 1st problem is the fact that it is ABSOLUTELY GUTLESS! This mower has ZERO power. The bag opening on the back of the mower gets clogged almost immediately. The engine will not stay tuned and after about 10 uses this mower becomes the hardest engine to start. I have had this Mower since May and it has had to be tuned up 3 times. Save your money and get any other mower then this paper weight. October 15, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the best mower The only reason and most important to me is that the mower did not cut the grass the way I thought it should. The motor continually died when I would start to mow and that is not good for me. I plan on returning this mower and getting a riding one. October 6, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't start I have had this lawn mower a little over a year. I always have had problems with it starting. Went to mow this morning and the thing burst into flames. This one must have had a faulty carborator or something. It just has not been the best mower October 3, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty much cheapo mower Engine is OK Starts OK Rest of mower is junk Turn it upside down to change the oil? Must have saved $2 on the plug Cant even put the gas filler upright funnel falls out Chute broke off easily FWD worse thing - no guard to keep weeds from winding around the front axle which will stop the wheels from spinning Had to clean out 3x in one day Not easy to clean out either Just a cheaply made body August 15, 2015
