I planted six grape vines and five roses along our driveway, and decided to give drip-irrigation a try, as I have read this is how grape vines prefer to be watered. I ordered 3 starter kits to ensure I could cover all plants along the driveway and an additional 3 grape vines growing up and around our deck. The kits arrived. The instructions were simple and it took me a couple of hours to get every one of the 14 plants 'hooked up'. I added a simple 'egg-timer' cut-off to the faucet... Now I can go and turn that to 20-30 minutes on my way from the garage to the front door, and not worry about forgetting to turn off the water... It makes starting new plants that need regular watering wonderfully easy and I recommend it highly!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Louis001 Good but has a problem
be careful installing the little drip heads. Had one blow in the middle of the night and the water bill reflected it at the end of the month. It blew where the stem attaches to the hose and we went from 0.5 gpm to several GPM. An interim fix is to turn the tap on a quarter way insted of on full.

Works well for hanging baskets on Porch - no need to lift them up/down off hooks for watering every night. Coupled with a timer based shut-off valve (purchased for $5 elsewhere), set it and forget it!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by dahdj Will work with my rain barrel if..
I bought this to try and use with my Rain Barrel. The water pressure in the barrel is not enough to make the drip caps work, however I will be able to make some “custom” changes to the tubes and it will end up meeting my needs.. This would work great with a timer attached to a normal water exterior faucet.
