CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 340 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just right. I don't have a large driveway or a lot of snow to clear but this season has been particularly busy weather-wise. The Toro 621 E was my choice because of the overall width (taking it out of the garage without moving my cars). Instructions were thorough and very specific about its capabilities and limitations. If the convenience of adjusting the chute is important I would suggest the next model up like the 621 QZE but the unit itself is light to maneuver and small that it doesn't take a lot of effort to adjust anything. Rated 4 out of 5 by A great little machine!! I bought this to do my double driveway because I put my back out. I selected it because of the 21" width and the electric start. I'm a 50 year old single mom and I needed something reliable that wouldn't be too heavy or hard to handle. I'm thrilled with it. The drive wheels may not be "meaty", but even with a bad back, I have no trouble operating it at all. It moves along at a good pace and handles the snow very well. It's easy to start both with the pull cord and with the electric start and it throws the snow a good distance. I was worried about the durability of the plastic parts, but so far it's been a total workhorse and has had no trouble at all handling anything I've tossed at it. I held back 1 star (wanted to hold back only half a star, but the choice is whole stars only) because I feel that it moves forward a little too quickly when operating. I'd have liked it to be just a tiny bit slower so that I don't feel like I'm nearly running up and down the driveway. Overall, I would heartily recommend this model to anyone who doesn't need a "huge" or heavy duty machine, that is looking for reliability and easy handling at a reasonable price. January 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great, This review is written by a female used to assembling and repairing around the house. It took a little time to read thru instructions for assembly. Then used it on 3rd snow of the season which was about eight inches of a fluffy snow... Not too much moisture. Using blower, it took me 20-30 minutes to clear sidewalks and two car drive way. Only problem was the shifting wind which made it difficult to stay clear of shute. By comparison, it took me 2-3 hours clearing an earlier snowfall this year of six inches. January 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding performance and easy to use Bought for my wife as I can no longer do these chores with the limited use of my legs. She is petite and was scared of the machine. Machine is so easy to use with the electric start and self propelled features. Now, she actually looks forward to the snow as she has so much fun with her new snow blower. January 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Time-saving and back-saving product The Toro snow thrower does a great job clearing snow from concrete and asphalt surfaces, even a wooden deck. The unit is designed to operate on flat surfaces, not gravel. The electric start and pull start both work like a charm. We have owned this unit for one month and it has already saved a lot of time and physical energy. Operating this snow thrower is similar to a push lawnmower. This model has a manual handle to aim the snow chute, you have to reach down to move it. January 26, 2014
