New snowblower, unboxed today. One of the control cables had been bent in two and broken, so the snowblower is inoperable for the time being. Contacted Home Depot online - the rep was helpful but advised that Home Depot *cannot* guarantee that a replacement part will be sent and to contact Toro instead. Contacted Toro, and the recorded message said to contact a local authorized repair shop. Now I have to somehow get my new snowblower to a repair shop somewhere in the region. Big hassle.

It seems like a pretty sturdy machine, it's still fall of the year here in St. Louis and I haven't had a chance to use it yet.
It was very disappointing upon arrival missing parts, it seemed as if somebody robbed the clutch lever and some bolts off this machine before it was sent to me. I'm still waiting for one pin and cotter pin to install the clutch lever that they finally sent me!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jojo60 Great purchase!
The product required only a few wrenches and was easy to assemble. It was easy to maneuver through 20 plush inches of wet, slushy and heavy April snow. It cut through the slushy snow and threw it 20 plus feet without clogging the spout.

Purchased the snow blower after the winter season so have not used it to evaluate the ease of use. The unit has very nice features and the quality seems to be excellent. After evaluating other snow blowers with the same qualities, this unit appears to outdo the other manufacturers in price.

I've been wanting a snowblower for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger this fall. I was initially looking at a smaller Toro two-stage but decided to upgrade. Setup was easy and it started up within the first few pulls. We've had a mild winter and it sat up until this weekend. I tried it early on in the storm after we got our first foot of snow. The machine was awesome. The heated handles were great. With temps in the mid teens and 40 mph winds my hands were nice and warm. The power on this thing is awesome too. When I went out towards the end of the storm we had about 30" on the ground. There were a few areas that I didn't get on my first go around that this thing powered right through. I thought this machine may have been more than what I really needed but after this storm I was so glad I upgraded.

Well built machine. More expensive than others but seems to be worth it. Time will tell.

I purchased this online from Home Depot and all I can say is the process was easy and worked extremely well. Product arrived by truck and on a pallet within the time frames stated. Some assembly was required but not that difficult - about 45 minutes. The job was in the first use - excellent. The motor has ample torque to handle anything nature throws at it. Easy to start with either the electric or pull method. I found the controls to be extremely easy to use and very functional once you practice one time. I have a large driveway and entrance that gets a lot of wind and high snow drifts during a storm. This machine is not even bothered - it goes through anything :) Previous snowblower was smaller and would not handle the drifts and snow height....no problem with this Toro! I can't say enough positive things about this snow blower or the ordering process!
