Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dissapointed Poor Quality Control before item was packaged and shipped
Home Depot kept me posted on the delivery and it was delivered as promised. The outer packing was undamaged, but then I found other issues. The inner box had a large oil spill from an unknown source, as the provided oil container was undamaged. Directions from Toro were incomplete. On first use, one of the 4 height levels was bent and needed straightening. Two of the notches for the height levelers were not bent out enough to catch and one didn't hold during mowing. Lastly, after doing part of the front lawn, the left drive wheel fell off and had to be reattached. Toro has been a good company in the past - this mower's quality did not meet my expectations, and their Customer Service provided a stock reply when I contacted them.

Replaced same mower I have had for at least 12 years. Deck cracked and wheel fell off. Almost bought new deck cause motor was still good.
Bought exactly the same mower since I liked my first so well.
Mower delivered to house and packaging showed no damage. Opened box and front wheel height adjustment lever was twisted and bent flat on deck. Rolled it out of garage
To return and front wheel fell off.
Got replacement and plastic handle for wheel adjuster comes off in my hands.
You have a good product Toro but your quality control sucks. May be my last.

Had this mower for 1 hour and the rear wheel fell off on my 2nd pass. I filled the engine with oil, put the fuel.additive in and added fuel. The engine started on the 2nd pull. I shut it down and re-check ed the oil level and 20 pulls later still couldn't get it to start. I got the box ready to put the mower back in and thought I would give it another try. 2 more pulls and it almost started. another 2 pulls and I was cutting grass until the wheel fell off.
Within 1 1/2 hours of the purchase was in the return line beind another toro.

Mower has only one issue, it gets heavy on the rear and tilts backwards. This happens when you are bagging the clippings. Otherwise, it's a great product.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Leo Bad mower and bad service
The pull-starter mechanism broke after SEVEN (7) USES!!!! The authorized service center charged me $63 to fix and said that Toro denied the warranty claim. After I emailed Toro several times, they claim that since it was an engine/starter issue, I had to contact Briggs and Stratton. I contacted B&S and have not received an answer. Can't stand companies that charge you good money for a (faulty) product and then fail to stand behind the product. Toro's name is on the product and they refuse to stand behind it. They have to take overall responsibility for the issue. After being a loyal Toro guy for 24 years, I'm done with them!!!

This was the recommended brand from my neighbor. Has a firs time homeowner and first time mower, this mower does the job. It was easy to figure out, cuts very well, easy to push up slopes. As my first ever mower, I am completely satisfied.

My second Toro Personal Pace mower after 10 years. Best feature is the electric start with no cord pulling. Another great feature is the easy switch lever between mulching and grass collecting. Home Depot's delivery was very smooth and helpful.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 12yearmower Too much money for no performance
I was pleased with the electric start and performance of the machine. Purchased in April 2016. However in August the lawnmower blew a gasket, that's what I assume it is. Started smoking and then spewing oil. Trying to find a Toro repair dealer to fix or replace. Very disappointed. Am 68 so it's difficult to bring mower in for repairs. Weighs almost 100 pounds. Thought I would get a few years service before repairing.
