If Toro is going to sell 2 pieces of rubber off an old tire for almost $60, the least they can do is include two items. First, for a dollar, they can add a T27 torx bit to use on the screws (should have designed it as a T25 which is more common and easy to find). Home Depot part number 205400467 works well if you have a ratchet set. Second, for another dollar, they could have added a special tool to hold the sixth bolt on each paddle so that they can be easily installed. Five of the sixth bolts are easy to install. The sixth is very difficult due to the bad design of that part of the snow blower. (There is no way to remove the left side of the snow blower so that you can hold the bolt and the clearance is too narrow to use your fingers.) For $10 dollars, I'd buy them again. At $59, these are the last pair of overpriced paddles I'll have to buy. The first thing I did when I got these was to trace out a template on a piece of cardboard, including the 6 holes for the bolts and the one for the small 'worn out' hole. I'll be using it to make my own out of old tires. As a matter of fact, I'm about to change the tires on my SUV and will keep one of the old ones so I can cut out 2 pairs of paddles for future use. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good replacement part, moderately hard to install. This was harder to install than I though it would be, so I gave it a low rating for ease of use and features. I needed a lot of different types of wrenches to get into the tight spaces around the nuts and bolts. The nuts have a small amount of gripping area since they are special low-profile stop-nuts (the kind that won't vibrate off in use). I stripped some of the nuts before I realized that they are probably metric. It helped to lift the snowthrower up onto a table. I also had to order the scraper, so next time I will order them together. March 2, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always check blades on your snowblower! The snowblower wasn't doing it's job very well and my son suggested changing the blades. What a difference. Works great! My advice don't toss snowblower until you try changing the blades to see if it makes a difference. March 25, 2014
