Answer:
I have high lift blades on my MX5050, and it really doesn't need a power flow unless you're picking up wet leaves, this thing bags grass magnificently.

Only if you have a place to compost. This device is efficient, and creates a lot, and I mean a lot of waste to be disposed of.

Answer:
Toro bagger model number 79337 will work with the Toro TimeCutter MX5060 only. It will pick up clippings regardless of acreage, the only limitation will be the number of times the operator wants to empty the bags.

I have a Toro Timecutter MX5060. Does this product include everything necessary to install it on my mower, or would I possibly need other attachments like a hitch to attach to the mower?

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love it Assembly took about an hour, but used common tools and the instructions were very good. I used it 3 times before I reviewed it, and I have to say I am impressed how well this bagger works. I have high lift blades on my mower which makes it like a vacuum, and it leaves absolutely no clippings on the lawn. Whatever used to come out of the chute, now ends up in the bagger. There is a learning curve though as you have to remember it's back there when you pivot near objects, (fences, buildings) or back up because the bagger will swing and hit them, but it's designed it to be taken off quickly and easily. I have a fenced yard so I make 2 passes around the perimeter without the bagger blowing the clippings into the yard. Subsequent runs with the bagger will pick up these clippings without a problem. I bought the bagger for the health of my lawn, but discovered several unexpected noteworthy benefits. First, it makes my lawn appear greener. I never realized how the dry brown grass clippings detracted from the appearance of my deep green lawn. Also, there are no more grass clippings blown into mulch beds, my pool patio, or my eyes on windy days, and since it bags weeds and their seeds, I expect fewer annual weeds like crabgrass next spring. Think about it: the weed seed can't germinate if it's not there. And finally, because the grass discharges into a tube and ends up behind you, it is noticeably quieter. I used to use a pull behind sweeper to collect my clippings. Not only was this like mowing the lawn twice, but it didn't pick up nearly as many of the clippings as this bagger. I mow about 3/4 acre, and fill it about 2 times per mow, and here is the only negative: You have to get rid of the clippings. Fortunately, I have a place to compost them, but I can see this being a problem if you don't and your municipality won't collect them. I think the only way Toro could improve upon it is if it baled the grass and discharged a hay bale like farm equipment. Overall, I highly recommend this accessory if you want a beautiful lawn and more comfortable mow. Note to Toro: Put your logo on the back of this thing. It's worthy of it. September 2, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice bagger. Easy to install! Nice bagger. It was easy to install. Comes on and off pretty quickly. The only thing I would like to see changed is a quicker way to reinstall the discharge chute when not using the bagger. I modified mine to make the discharge chute more quick release, because I take mine on and off all the time. A wall hanging mount mount for the bagger would also be a nice option. I think I will be welding a mount up next year. December 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great proudct I was a little skeptical on how much I could pack into those two bags, and I must say I was pretty amazed on how much it holds. Although it does tend to throw an excessive amount of mulched debris on engine, maybe I'll throw some kind of flange on inside of the bagger. Overall makes very quick work, with what use to take me hours to do. Love it!! October 23, 2013
