Great mower. Probably more mower than I need for an acre but cuts mowing time to nothing. Past experience with Toro zero turn mowers aided in my selection of this mower. Very dependable.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve58 This is a great mower, wish I had bought a Toro 10 years ago
If you pick up this mower from freight carrier be sure to have them load it with front of carton facing gate on your trailer, it will save a big head ache getting it out of box and off trailer. That being said everything else went very smooth setting it up. Be sure to check oil level, as mine was not at full mark to begin with. Added on mulch kit last week and getting ready to add stripping kit now that it has arrived. Be sure to order part # 121-5702 as this is stripping kit for fabricated deck. Mowing grass is no longer a major pain, in fact I kinda enjoy it now.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tech1955 great product should last me till i'm gone!
Bought this MX4260 machine because of the toro 212-5 lawn tractor I have owned for 22 years still runs great and looks good. I wanted to go to the zero turn machine and had the recycle kit installed which works very well. This mower is much quieter than I expected and took a little getting used to because I have never used a zero turn mower but it doesn't take long and it is very comfortable to use. I'm heading for 60 years old and expect this to last me until I'm gone!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dcfas Quality of cut is impressive
The MX4260 is a solidly built homeowner zero turn mower which has an impressive quality of cut. The engine is very powerful, yet smooth running. The fabricated deck gives the mower a more heavy-duty appearance and feel. The frame and steel components all seem thick and able to take a beating for a long time. Even though the mower is heavy-duty for a homeowner unit, it has a surprisingly small footprint, and fits easily into my shed with room to spare. The two-speed feature works great; I find that I tend to keep it in the slower speed. So far I'm very pleased with this mower.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mick5 Great mower but very lacking in ease of airing up front caster tires.
This is a great mower but because of the problem with airing the front caster tires I can't give it a excellent rating. This is the short fall I have with it.I have contacted the dealer I got it from and the Toro Customer service and technical department and they are oblivious to handling my problem. The problem is the position of the valve stem on the front caster wheels are impossible to even check the air pressure and/Or add air to them. This is a design flaw and Toro will do nothing about it.It can be fixed by changing the caster bracket or a different type valve stem but they don't hear what I say.The dealer also will not listen. In order to air tire with ease you are better to take the axle loose and remove the tire and rim completely!!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Murray28 Great Mower
First zero turn mower I have owned. It took just a few minutes to get used to the operation of the machine. I like the selection of lower or higher speed. The power is great and the cut was very good. I have used it just once but can't wait to mow again. The only problem is that winter is setting in and I may have to wait a while.

Purchased this mower and have 3 runs under my belt, I can say it puts a great cut on my yard. Mower is fast and shoots the grass out of the deck very hard. Mower also in my opinion is quieter than most mowers I have herd but that may be because it only has 2 blades, most mowers i have herd have 3 blades so that could be the reason. The Kawasaki engine should be a long runner, runs smooth and starts very easy. The mx series have some nice upgrades over the SS series, one being the heavy duty deck (think if you hit something at 7mph with a stamped deck it will probably dent) the welded deck comes with a big beefy steel lip to protect it. Seat has arm rests and comes with an hour meter, also you get a thick rubber floor mat and bigger engine and transmission. Overall very happy with my purchase and in my opinion you can't go wrong with a toro for a homeowner.
