Customer Questions & Answers

width of bagger attachment

how wide will the attachment make the Toro SS 3200 mower? (I have to get it through a narrow gate and the mower doesn't have much room on each side now)
Asked by: LCpalmbay
It will add about 16 inches to the right side of the Toro SS 3200 mower.

How do you, or I, empty this item?

Just looking at the sales literature, I can't tell what it takes to empty the bagger when full. Is this an easy task or is it difficult?
Asked by: smorreltork
To empty the grass bags: 1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the blade control switch. 2. Move the motion control levers outward to the neutral lock position, stop the engine, remove the key, set the parking brake and wait for all moving parts to stop before leaving the operating position. 3. Open (raise) the bagger top. 4. Compress debris into the bags. With both hands, lift up on the bag and unhook it from the retaining bracket. Empty the bag. Repeat the procedure for the other bag. 5. Install the bags by sliding the bag frame hooks onto the retaining brackets.

changing blade

what is the purpose of changing the blade? What would happen if it wasn't changed?
Asked by: LCpalmbay
The 32” deck is the only one that needs a blade change when bagging for optimal performance. It will work with the standard blade for light-duty bagging but we recommend making the change for best performance.

Customer Reviews

TimeCutter SS 32 in. Twin Bagger for 2011 or Newer Models is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is a real time saver for a big yard. You just have to gauge how much the bags will hold and when to stop and dump each bag. Assembly was not too difficult if you are used to working on cars but did take me about 1+1/2 hours of crawling around; and then at the end I didn't realize I would have to change out the cutting blade (provided) for the high-vac feature. Assembly directions needs a page to include a picture comparison (size) of each bolt so you use the correct one the first time and eliminate any guessing. The product does a great job of collecting all the grass cuttings from the lawn surface.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Works Well but pick up at store don't have it shipped to your home. Only problem I had was I had it shipped to my home. The item with its front end weights, new blade etc weights in at 134 shipping lbs. The box that it is shipped in can not handle this much weight and came apart during shipping. As far as I can tell I was lucky and nothing was lost. With a bagger on your Toro it is harder to mow you lawn in close quarters or to get near fences and trees. You are a lot longer and wider. With the bagger on you machine it sort of defeates a zero turn radius turning lawn mower,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bagger Great bagger for my ToroTimecutter SS 32 and easy to install. I first used it after dethatching my lawn this spring and was like using a vacuum on the lawn. Also did a great job on first cut of the season. It does make the tractor a little longer, about 20 inches to the back, and wider, about 16 inches to the right side. Can be removed in less than a minute if you need to attach a trailer or other accessory to the trailer hitch. I'm sure it will do a great job with leaves in the fall. It is well made, very heavy duty, and a great addition to my Timecutter SS 32.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Timecutter SS 32 inch twin bagger I was not sure this bagger would pick up pine straw and leafs when I order this bagger. After only one pass in the backyard, I was extremely satisfied with this bagging unit. This bagger saves me two hours of racking the front and back yard. The bagger took about 2 hours to install. I was surprised this bagger came with a new high lift blade. This bagger can be assembled very quickly for use or removed for storage. The only problem with this bagger is its size. You have to be careful in tight areas that you do not damage the baggers large tubes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SURE DOES SAVE A LOT OF RAKING Was a little disappointed with the instructions that came with the package but managed to figure it out. The first effort at mounting the discharge chute to the deck was the hardest part. But after about the third use, the mounting became much easier and quicker. Now I can completely remove or install the chutes and rear assembly in less than two minutes. This makes it possible to mow the lawn without having to deal with the bulk of the bagger being in the way. The bagger overhang at the rear and the discharge chute coming out the side makes it difficult to turn when close to objects and fences. But after mowing and/or mulching leaves, the bagger makes clean-up a breeze. Emptying the bags is simple. Even though the bagging accessory seemed a little pricey, I'm sure glad I have it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Two at best I think this bagger was designed as an after thought. The added weight makes the mower hard to handle in turns and on any slope and in tight places. The mower becomes too long. and you lose the zero turn feature. The bags themself are heavy even before they are full. also I you purchased the mower because of it's width that is also lost.
