Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Watch Out ! I purchased this unit, got it home and it would not start. I contacted( Toro Timecutter ss 4235) Home Depot and they do not service them and referred me to Toro. Toro recommended an area franchised dealer. After 47 km. each way...the dealer told me that they only do warranty work for the units they sell. When pushed, they said if I paid an Administration fee, they would process it. I refused. I stopped by and small motor shop, who looked at it, reconnected a wire and it started. Be aware of the warranty issues. For the last four days, I have been waiting for a reply from Toro Canada..Nothing yet. Home Depot, listened, assigned me a number and is looking into it Nice Unit, good reviews but.....I would have taken it back, but their sale price was not beatable...Troublesome to say the least. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Getting older and cant use a walk behind mower any more I have never owned a riding lawnmower until this mower. It has always been hard for me to justify spending this much on a mower. I live on multiple acreage with the area around my home that is mowed by this mower being 1 1/2 acres. Much of the area has close and tight curves and turns due to the multiple curved shaped flower beds around my home. Not your typical square yard. I find the maneuverability of this mower in this setting to be superb. The power to back up is not that great but once you figure out that you can generally turn 180 degrees and plan for this when you are mowing in close quarters this is easy to overcome and the mower works great. I have mowed the area this growing season and use the mower to pull a dump wagon with tools that I haul around the property for other projects. I would also add that you need to be diligent to add a quality stabilizer gas additive to any gas that you put in this machine or you will have problems with gumming and carburetor issues next mowing season. Run the gas out of this mower when you finish the season or of you go more that 30 days without starting and running the machine. I was going to install a valve in the gas system that would allow me to run all the gas out of the supply to the carburetor, but called the manufacture and they said it would invalidate the warranty. I love the machine and it does a great job. Follow these guidelines and the machine should last for a long time. August 30, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great choice! Although I am not able to speak about the mower in terms of longevity yet, I will say it is a great choice a residential mower. Plenty of speed, plenty of power, and an even cut. I have a 1.5 ac yard and can cut it in less than an hour. So quick and easy I catch myself waiting for grass to grow so I can cut it. Buy it! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love my new Toro ZTR For the past 20 years I've owned three lawn tractors and have always wanted a ZTR for my property but the price kept me from purchasing one. I finally found a reliable product that fit my budget and my needs. Learning how to navigate a ZTR compared to a lawn tractor is like learning how to ride a bike but it is definitely worth it. It takes less time to mow my property, approximately 1 acre. I also use less fuel because I don't have to make such wide turns to cut. Although the cut on this mower is only 4" wider than my old lawn tractor, I find that it cuts much better even at a faster speed. I can't wait to use this mower for a full season October 19, 2014
